CHAPTER 35

"Kikay?" I asked shockingly.

I rubbed my eyes just to make sure im not just hallucinating and when she didn't fade, I placed my hand on her shoulders just to make sure she's real. 

"Tangina! Hoy! Kung pagulungin kaya kita sa hagdan?! Wag ka ngang basta susulpot dyan!" sigaw niya.

I laughed when I saw her reaction. Dammit. Namiss ko rin yung sigaw niya. Tss.

"Ang aga mong nagising?" tanong ko habang sumusunod sa kanya papuntang kusina.

She didn't answer until she sat on the high chair and rested her chin on her palm "Magluto ka na"

I stared at her for a few seconds then grinned when I realized she's having breakfast with us. I happily cooked our breakfast and placed the bowl in front of her.

"Ano to?"

"Chao fan"

We silently ate without waiting for Yanna to wake up.

"Namiss mo luto ko sa umaga no?" I asked.

Her eyebrows raised "Nagugutom lang ako at kung hindi ka biglang sumulpot ako sana ang magluluto" she retorted.

I tilted my head then stared at her. "Ayaw mo na ng breakfast sa canteen? Hindi ka ba hinihintay ni LWB ngayon?"

Deadpan. She ignored it. My forehead creased then I sighed. There are times that I doubted my assumptions that she's into Ian but her silence confirms that I was right. If not, she'd deny it right away but she didn't.

"Kuya" said on the other line.

I half awake when I responded. My eyes wouldn't coordinate to even look at the time.

"Uwi ka na. Ipagbake mo na 'ko ng cake!"

My forehead creased then immediately, I sat on my bed and checked the date. I ruffled my hair then groaned. Nice. I almost forgot my brother's birthday.

"Kuya!"

"Bukas pa yung birthday mo, so, bukas pa din yung cake mo" I said.

"But I want a cake now!" Troy exclaimed. I could even imagine him pouting his lips now.

"Asked Dad to bake you a cupcake"

"Can I?"

"Yes, just tell him you want a cupcake"

"But it's not a cake. I want a cake!"

"It's the same. Pinaliitan lang"

"Really? Okay"

I heaved sigh and shook my head when he ended the call after that. Tss. He should learn how to bid goodbye. That kiddo.

I went downstairs only to see Ian this early. My brows automatically furrowed as I looked at him sitting comfortably on the sofa.

"Is it too early for visiting?" I asked.

He stood up and smiled at me. My forehead creased deepened as I watched him walking towards me.

"Dude, im here to give this to Pam" sabi niya sabay pakita ng isang box.

I frowned as I looked at the box. Im hundred percent sure it's a cheesecake. Tss. So, he already knew her weakness.

"She's still asleep" I shrugged.

Ian heaved a sigh then shook his head.

"I'll just wait here 'till she wakes up" he said then sat again.
