CHAPTER 26

"Ano sa tingin mo ang ginagawa mo?"

I smiled when I heard that voice.

"Ang bilis niyo naman kumain?" I asked instead of answering her question.

Lumapit siya sakin at inagaw yung cheesecake na kinakain ko.

"Hey!" I protested.

She glared at me "Hey-in mo mukha mo! Bakit ka ba nandito at bakit kinakain mo ang cheesecake ko?" galit na tanong niya saka pumunta sa ref para ibalik yung cheesecake na kalahati na lang isang slice.

Tss.

"Just let me finish that. Ang dami pa sa ref, isang slice lang naman ang kinuha ko" mabilis kong binawi yung platito saka ko siya tinalikuran bago pa niya makuha ulit.

Ang damot. Tss.

"Hoy!" sigaw niya.

"Kapag si LWB binibigyan mo, sakin nagdadamot ka. Ang unfair" I murmured.

"Anong pinagsasabi mo?" her eye's slit in thin line.

I looked at her and
smirked "I saw you. Kanina pa kaya ako nandito"

She glared at me again but I ignored it. Doesn't she realize that her death glares doesn't have an effect on me?

"Alam mo Pam, kung gusto mo si LWB, sagutin mo na habang hindi pa natatauhan" I chuckled but deep inside me, I wished she wouldn't take my advice. Tss.

This is crazy. Hindi ko na maintindihan ang sarili ko. Why my words were so contrast to what I really feel? Dammit.

"Kilabutan ka nga sa pinagsasabi mo!" she yelled as if I said something gross.

Is it a good thing? I hope so.

"Malapit na" I said "Nasa indenial stage na" I added but she ignored it and left me.

My smiled faltered and just watched her walking away. Sana mali ako. I let out a long sigh and shook my head. This is getting difficult and complicated. I disheveled my hair then walked to the guest room.

My insomnia keeps me awake so, instead of insisting myself to sleep, I stepped outside the room and searched for the particular room where Papa hid all the pandas I gave to Pamela.

A broad smile immediately plastered on my lips when I saw it. Madami dami na din. Halos, mapuno na yung kama dahil dun lang nakapalagay lahat pero wala yung pinakahuli kong binigay. I guess it's still in Pam's room, and that was much better. Bakit kasi allergic siya sa panda? I have this feeling there's a reason behind her hate towards stuffed toys.

Naisipan ko na lang na ayusin yung mga panda, since I can't sleep. Father already told me that this will be their official room. He supported me all the way because he thought I am the one who can change Pamela's perpective in life. And what's that perspective? About acting and thinking feminine. She's too tough but im okay with it. Hindi ko alam kung bakit gusto niyang magpakababae si Pam e, babae naman yun. Palamura lang at nananakit pero babaeng babae pa rin yun. I shook my head. Habang wala pang alam tungkol dito sa kwartong to si Pam, pupunuin ko muna to ng mga panda at bibili din ako ng maraming mga anak ni Pandi pati partner niya pero wala pa kasi akong makita na kasing laki niya. Tss.

After I finished, I looked around then smiled. I've done too much effort ha. I shook my head then sighed. Is it right? For someone who was saying he's just like the person, this would be too much. Would somebody do this kind of effort to someone he's just infatuated to? I ruffled my hair. Baka hindi, baka ako lang ang may gusto ng ganito.

Nahiga ako sa kama saka ko nilabas ang phone ko at naggoogle. I need a legit answer. Hindi pwedeng confused ako. But I am certain of one thing though.. I really like her.

["Bro, alam ko na kung sino siya" excited na sabi ni Raven.

"Sino?" I asked confused. What is he talking about? Tss.

["Comarts professor"] hindi siya sumagot agad.

I frowned. Now, who is he talking about?

"Sino nga?"

["Bro! Yung girlfriend ni Dean Enrique"]

I tilted my head then I remembered.

"So?" My eyebrows raised.

["Anong so? Aren't you interested in them?"]

"No. Why would I? Im not into gossips"

Like the hell I care? Tss.

["Pero makakatulong tong nakuha kong impormasyon. Believe me, it's the answer to your problem"]

"Paano? Pag nalaman ko ba yan titigilan na ko ni Ashley?"

["Hindi"]

What the hell? Tss.

"It's not the answer to my question then" sagot ko.

Ieend ko na sana yung tawag pero nagpahabol na naman siya. Tss.

["Sandali. Sabi ko makakatulong sa problema mo. Tss. They have forbidden love affair. Alam mo yun? Bawal sa university natin yung magkaroon ng romantic relationship with workmates at may pamilya na si Dean Enrique, in short, may kabit siya"] tuluy tuloy na sabi ni Raven.

I shook my head. I concluded it already but it's not my problem anymore. It takes no genius to know that. You would never kissed and acted sweet to each other if you're labeled as 'just friends'.

Friends my ass.

I kissed Pamela because I like her. That's already something. Tss.

"That doesn't help. Kailangan ko lang malaman kung siya talaga yung tatay ni Ashley para makausap. Wala akong balak makisawsaw sa gulo nila" I said sternly.

["Ganun ba? Sayang naman yunh effort ko"]

"Thanks anyway bro" I smirked.

["Okay. Nandyan ba si Yanna?"]

"Wala. Bakit?"

["Just asking. Sige bro"]

I shook my head as I ended the call.

Bumalik na ko sa guestroom na tutulugan ko pero nadaanan ko yung kwarto ni Pam. I stopped at pinakinggan ko muna kung may ingay sa loob pero wala naman akong narinig kaya sinubukan kong pihitin ang doorknob.

"Tss" I clicked my tongue when it opened.

I should really tell her to always lock her door.

Sumilip ako at dim na yung ilaw. Yung lampshades na lang yung bukas and I saw her sleeping with a book on her hands kaya lumapit ako at kinuha yung libro sa kamay niya saka pinatong sa side table at inayos ko din yung kumot niya. I sat in squat position in front of her. Pinatong ko yung dalawang braso ko sa kama malapit sa mukha niya then rested my chin on my arms and stared at her. Mukha siyang mahinhin kapag tulog. I chuckled and tacked the strained hair behind her ears. I caressed her cheek as I memorized each part of her face. Mas maganda siya kapag namumula siya when im this near. I grinned.

"What are you doing to me Pamela?" I murmured.

I stood up and leanead on her. I closed my eyes as I pressed my lips on hers. So soft, very tempting. I pulled away and stared again then I gave her a peck before stepping away. I bit my lips and released a sigh.

Im on the edge.
