CHAPTER 13

My forehead creased when I saw Raven eating breakfast along with my family at the dining.

"Good morning best friend!" he greeted with huge smile which looks gross.

"Bakit nandito ka? Di ba ang usapan natin doon na lang tayo magkikita?" tanong ko saka naupo sa upuan ko.

"I just suddenly don't feel like driving today" he answered.

I shook my head and ignored him.

"Ngayon yung exam niyo galingang niyo ha. They would telk you the result right away and kung makapasa kayo magenroll na agad kayo" sabi ni Mom.

"Asahan niyo na po yan Tita. Pwede na din po ba kaming lumipat sa condo ngayon?" tanong ni Raven kaya napakunot ang noo ko.

"Bakit kasama ka?" I asked.

He smiled "I'll be your roommate" sabi nito.

I shook my head. He doesn't need to elaborate, I know he begged Mom for it.

"Ingat kayo and goodluck"

"Thanks Mom, Dad" I said before I started the engine.

Troy cried when I said he'll seldom see me when I passes the exam. He even wished na sana daw hindi ako makapasa kaya pinagsabihan ni Dad na masama yun. I just laughed tho. Im gonna miss them.

"Do you think susundan ka pa rin ng stalker mo?" tanong ni Raven habang nagdadrive ako.

I shrugged. "It's possible. She's really creepy"

"Piece of cake" sabi ni Raven pagkatapos namin mag-exam.

We passed the exam and enrolled right after we got the result, though, it took us until afternoon dahil inorient pa kami tungkol sa possibility na baka isali kami sa quiz bee because perfected the exam.

"Bibisitahin na ba natin yung condo niyo?" tanong ni Raven.

I didn't answer. Tumigil ako sa paglalakad ng makita ko sila Pamela sa hallway.

"Si Yanna!" Raven exclaimed.

I smirked and immediately walked to my car. Mabilis namang nakasunod si Raven sakin. Hindi naman ako nahirapan na hanapin ang kotse ni Pamela dahil pareho lang naman kami, hinintay ko na lang silang makalabas ng gate bago ako sumunod.

"We'll follow them? Bakit hindi ka na lang magpakita para makalapit din ako kay Yanna?" tanong ni Raven.

I shook my head. I have a plan  and that's something to do with the mascot. I grinned at the thought.

"Hindi ako magpapakita" sabi ko habang nakatutok ang paningin ko sa harap kung nasaan ang kotse ni Pam.

They entered inside the mall.

"Dalhin mo to" utos ko kay Raven sabay abot sa kanya nung costume.

He scowled "Anong gagawin ko dito?" he asked.

"Dalhin mo lang, ako ang magsusuot niyan sa loob" sabi ko saka naunang pumasok sa mall.

"Magiging mascot ka? For what?" he asked confused.

I smirked.

Tuluy tuloy lang ako hanggang sa makarating sa men's restroom para isuot yung mascot. It's weird I know, but weird thing makes a moment special.

"Text Yanna and ask her where she is right now" I commanded which he followed immediately. Basta pagdating kay Yanna madaling utusan si Raven ng wala kang maririnig na reklamo.

"Bookstore" sabi nito.

I grinned. Great, makakabili pa ko ng sketchpad at marker.

"Videohan mo ko pagnakalapit na ko kay Pamela but make sure hindi ka makikita ni Yanna" sabi ko saka sinuot yung ulo ng panda.

I heard him asked another question but I ignored it. Pinagtitinginan ako ng mga tao paglabas ko.

"Ang cute!" sigaw nung isang babae them lumapit siya sakin para magpapicture.

I want to ignore her pero niyakap na niya ko kaya wala na kong nagawa, thankfully, konti lang ang teenagers ngayon na pwedeng macute-an sakin at magpapicture kaya safe akong nakarating sa bookstore. I immediately bought
sketchpad and marker bago ko hinanap si Pam. I saw Yanna dun sa file of books then my eyes quickly caught Pamela right next to her.

I grinned and strode towards their direction. Napalingon sakin si Pam nung nasa tabi na niya ko then I chuckled when I saw her shocked face as she stared at me. Mabilid akong nagsulat ng 'Hi' at hinarap sa kanya yung sinulat ko. She'll recognized me if I talk.

But as I expected, she turned her back on me then dragged Yanna.

"Tara na" I heard her say.

"Hey, wait! Hindi pa ko nakakapili ng book!" sagot naman ni Yanna.

Mabilis akong humarang sa dadaanan nila. No, I won't let them go. Nagsulat ulit ako sa sketchpad and smirked as I let th read it. 'Papicture naman!'

"Hindi ako artista" sagot ni Pam at aalis na sana but thankfully, my cousin stopped her.

"So cute! Wag muna tayong umalis, pagbigyan natin siya!" she said while smiling.

"Ayoko nga! Ikaw na lang!"

"Sige na please! Isa lang tapos go na tayo! Puhlease?"

"Ayoko"

"Sige na naman.  Ibibigay ko sayo yung complete set ng Lunar Chronicles. Di ba gusto mo yun?"
I tilted my head. Does she knew it's me? But to my surprised, Pam agreed but I can see to her face the distaste of agreeing with her best friend"

"Yey! Tabi ka na sa kanya" sabi ni Yanna.

"No way!"

"Yes way! Lunar chronicles!"

Natawa ako nung tumabi sakin si Pam. So, she can be bribe with books? I smiled widely as I grabbed her shoulders and faced her with me. Nagsulat ulit ako sa sketchpad at pinakita sa kanya 'Pumikit ka'

Sinamaan niya ko ng tingin bigla but I couldn't stop myself from smiling. I like seeing her irked face.

"Pikit na Pam!" sigaw ni Yanna.

She glared at Yanna too then she took a deep breath before closing her eyes. I was really really amused seeing her like this now.

"Okay. 1.. 2.." bilang ni Yanna.

I stepped forward and leaned closer. I took off the big head of panda just under my eyes and enough to exposed my lips then before Yanna could count three, I quickly presses my lips on hers.

It was just a quick peck dahil naitulak niya agad ako.

"Ikaw! Hinalikan mo ko?!" she shouted.

Inayos ko ang ulo ng panda then nagsulat ulit ako sa sketchpad. 'Thank You!' I showed ot to her then I quickly walked away with a huge smile on my face.

Mabilis akong pumunya sa men's restroom at hinubad ang costume. Pawis na pawis ako it doesn't matter because it's worth it. I got my first kiss in a very special way.

"Nice one bro!" sabi ni Raven pagkapasok niya sa cr.

He gave me my phone and I smirked as I stowed it inside my pocket.

"So, siya pala yung kinababaliwan mo?" tanong ni Raven.

I tilted my head. "No. That's too much. But I like her" I said.

Raven shook his head but the grin on his face didn't waver. "You kissed her, I think it's more than like now" sabi nito.
