Chapter 64

“I hate you, Kuya,” Troy pouted after he recovered and shedding tears over my announcement.

His cute doe eyes were sharply looking at me and Mom was giggling because it was the first time he ever got upset.

Smirking, I turned to him and patted the top of his head, “I will find the right girl for you, don't worry..” I cooed.

He didn't say anything and just remained pouting until we finished our dinner. Fortunately, it ended well even with silent Troy. Meanwhile, Mom was the happiest, and of course, the loudest as always. She pestered my ‘girlfriend’ by saying unnecessary things that I had to interfere to stop her from talking.

“Gumawa ka na ng account sa facebook, then add me, para chatmate na tayo!” Mom chirped as she waved her hand.

“Sige po. Thank you po sa dinner,” magalang na sagot ni Pam.

“Kung alam ko lang na pupunta ka, sana mas bongga pa yung dinner natin! Anyways, ingat kayo!”

Pam just smiled and waved at my family before she started the engine. My lips stretched widely upon hearing her heaved a sigh. “Tangina. Nakakapagod..”

“Language, babe,” I reprimanded.

Her head immediately turned to me and I could feel her sharp glares, “Anong babe pinagsasabi mo?!” she hissed.

I prepared myself for her outburst about her cussings about how I don't have a right to tell whatever she wanted to do or say, kaya naman hindi ko napigilang mapatawa nung mas pinuna niya yung ‘babe’ na parang ayun lang ang nagregister sa kanya.

“Anong tinatawa-tawa mo dyan? Gusto mo ng sapak?” inis niyang tanong habang nakatingin sa daan.

I shook my head as I bit my bottom lips to suppress my laughter. But my arm stings when she hits me with her free hand.

My short-tempered girlfriend is very skilled. She can still punch while driving. Can others do that? I grinned proudly.

“Ouch. What did I do?” I whined playfully.

“Tanungin mo sarili mo! Bakit ba kasi pumayag pa ko dito. Kinginang yan. Pasalamat ka--”

“Mahal mo ko..” I quickly added while nodding, “Mahal din kita..”

“Siraulo! Hindi yan ang sasabihin ko!”

“Ano ba dapat? Pasalamat ako kasi in love ka sakin? Don't worry, in love na in love din ako sayo..”

The car abruptly halted and thank God we are wearing our seatbelts or else, we're going to fly over the windshield. I wasn't able to utter anything when she immediately turned to me and seems like ready to kill me with those fury eyes.

“I'll stop now,” I said raising my two hands in surrender, “Jeez. Hindi ka na mabiro..” I shook my head in amusement.

And here I thought something will change because she's in love with me. Mukhang magiging battered boyfriend ako. Pero ayos lang, basta ba pananagutan niya ko in the future.
Hinatid niya ko at inalalayan pa hanggang sa makarating kami sa condo ko which made my heart flutters big time. Because to be honest, it's still not sinking in to me that we're already official and that she loves me back. Everything still feels surreal that her actions were so shocking to the point I do not want to believe it.

“The newly official couple is here! Congratulations!” Raven shouted in glee.

Pam ignored him and so am I. She asked where was my room instead, and got me hit with my car fob and key when I teased her about sharing the bed with me. I didn't mean it, but if she wants to sleep beside me.. Who am I to resist? I'm not afraid to face her father the next day anyway.
