A wide smile already plastered on my lips and I don't think it will vanish soon.

“I'm going home later, Mom..” I said then quickly ended the call because I don't want her to notice my overflowing happiness through our conversation.

I intended not to tell her my plan, because I don't want to get her hopes up high and be disappointed if that plan didn't happen once again. I have already learned from the first one.

Smirking, I calmly walked to Pam's room. Because she always ran away after I stole a kiss from her.

Gently, I knocked on her door for she really have learned how to lock it. I was expecting she won't ever opened it for it always has been like that before. But I was wrong. After just a few knocks, the door clicks and it opened. Unfortunately, it's not Pam who opened it but my dear annoying cousin.

“Bawal ka na dito!” she laughed manically.

Instantly, my brows knitted together, “What?” I asked confused.

Yanna closed the door behind her with a smugged grin plastered on her face, “You sneaky bastard! You kissed her kaya bawal na kayong magsama sa isang lugar na kayo lang!” she said akimbo.

I tilted my head as I stared at her in disbelief.

So what if we kissed? What does it has to do with us together in the same room alone? She doesn't make sense.

“Its just a kiss..” I stated nonchalantly, “In fact, it's not the first time I've kissed her”

“What do you mean?” she gasped.

The crease on my forehead disappeared and my lips stretched back once again as I've thought of my stolen kisses. I didn't count how many times I did it, but I would never forget that she never fails to run away everytime I did that. I don't know her reason, but soon I will find out.

“Stop chuckling and tell me everything!” Yanna ordered.

I shook my head and pushed her aside to open the door, “Privacy, Yanna,” I told her before I entered Pam's room.

“Privacy your face! Hindi kayo pwedeng magsolo sa kwarto!” she exhorted.

Hindi ko na lang siya pinansin, at para sa ikakatahimik niya, iniwan kong bukas ang pinto para makita niyang wala along gagawing masama sa best friend niya.

Mabilis akong naglakad sa direksyon ni Pamela, and my smiled widened instantly upon seeing her. And as usual, she was glaring at me as if I did something wrong with her when we both know its anything but wrong.

She confessed that's why I kissed her out of bliss, and then, unexpectedly, she kissed me back. So, what's wrong with that?

“Bakit nandito ka?” tanong niya.

Tuluy-tuloy akong naupo sa kama niya kung nasaan siya. I could hear Yanna's protest but I ignored her. I can easily pushed her out of this room and lock her out if she decides to be a hindrance. Good thing, she stopped when Pamela scooted away as if I have a contagious disease. Yanna laughed. Probably intended to
mock me but she failed for I didn't feel offended at all.

“Uuwi ako sa amin mamaya,”I replied.

I stared at her intently, and I couldn't help giggling when she suddenly averted her eyes from me. Damn, my girl was shy. I didn't know seeing her like this feels like I won a lottery.

“O, e ano ngayon? Bakit mo sinasabi sakin?” she hissed.

I tucked the side of her hair to her ear which made her flinched. I gave her a wide smile when she threw me glare after.

“You're coming with me..”

“Ano?!” she exclaimed hysterically, “Bakit naman ako sasama sayo?! Ayoko nga!”

“Don't you want to meet your future in-laws?”

“Pinagsasabi mo?”

“As your boyfriend--”

She gasped. Her eyes went wide as saucer at the mention of boyfriend as if it's a taboo word, “Anong boyfriend sinasabi mo?!”

Slowly, my smile faltered as brows knitted together, “Hindi pa ba? You just told me you love me, and I love you too. That only means we're already official,” I stated matter-of-factly.

I watched her lips parted to say something, but decided to shut it and looked away once again. Then, her face quickly turned red which made my lips curved lopsidedly back again.
“Wow. Pamela Reyes becomes speechless! That's new!” Yanna intervened.

I glanced over my shoulder to give her a warning look. But as a good of a cousin that she is, she just smirked at me.

“Sumama ka na. It's about time na matuloy na ang dinner niyo with his family,” dagdag pa nito.

I remained silent as I watched Pam looking confused, “Pinagsasabi mo?”

Yanna then strode towards the bed. “We had our dinner here last night. Me, Mom, Dad, Trystan and his whole family. Unfortunately, you didn't come out and eat with us, that's why the plan became a fail,” she said with a grin as she took a glance on me, “Sayang. I wanted to witness pa naman kung anong magiging reaction mo seeing half of our family”

“A-ano?” Pam queried incredulously, “Bakit..”

“To prove that I'm serious with you,” I answered without waiting for her to finish her question. Then, I held her hand and kissed it, “I still want to prove it to you even after you told me you love me. That's why I'm asking you to come home with me..”

It's already past six in the afternoon when we finally reach home. I turned to Pamela after I parked my car and smiled, “Are you nervous?” I asked.

She stared at me sharply. “Why would I be nervous?”

I bit my bottom lip to suppressed my threatening huge smile. It was so obvious tho. But I wouldn't say that for I don't want her to suddenly back out.

I leaned forward and kissed her forehead. I felt her stiffened, but I just ignored it and gave her an assuring smile. “Tell me when you're ready, then we'll go..”

“Lika na”

“Sure?”

She rolled her eyes and silently stepped out of the car. I didn't tell Mom that I'm bringing Pamela because for sure she will prepare more than enough for our dinner. Though, Dad knew about this, I'm confident he didn't tell on me for he knows how his wife can be exaggerated at times.

Pam's steps abruptly halted when she saw my family on the dinning table. I grinned more as I interlocked our fingers and dragged her to the table.

Dad saw us first and he instantly smirked upon seeing our hands. “You're finally home. Have a seat,” he said which made Mom turned on us and gasped.

“If you don't mind. I brought my girlfriend, Mom..” I said before she could say anything.
