Chapter 65

“We're now husband and wife.. I can now kiss my bride,” I grinned as I leaned towards her to give her my sweetest kiss. But she turned her head away that caused my lips to land on her cheek, “Babe!” I pouted.

She glared at me, “Ano ka sinuswerte?” she rolled her eyes, “Pumayag na 'ko dito sa kabaliwan mo, inaabuso mo naman!”

“May kiss naman talaga sa wedding ceremony,” I defended.

“At sino nagsabi sayong wedding ceremony ‘to?” she asked, “Pumayag lang akong isuot natin ang singsing!” she hissed.

Suddenly, I chuckled. She glared at me more for that, but I just hugged her.

“Siraulo”

“Nasisiraan ng ulo sayo,” sagot ko.

I cridged when my side stings as she pinched it. Then, she took advantage of it to get away while cussing.

Reflexively, I grabbed her arm and quickly slid it to her hand. While the smile on my face didn't falter, I silently walked with her back on the canteen where we left Yanna and Raven.

I expected her to protest, but my smile just grew wider when I only got a glare from her.

“Pupunta ako sa inyo mamaya”

As if I said something wrong, her steps halted and her feisty eyes darted on me once again, “Ano'ng gagawin mo samin?” she asked.

I smirked as I shrugged my shoulder, “Kakausapin si Papa,” I replied nonchalantly.

“Tungkol saan?”

“About our relationship. I told him I will update him every now and then about our progress and I'm keeping my promise. And.. I want us to be legal in both sides”

She was silent after that. I thought she's not going to respond anymore as we were nearing our table. But she have proven me wrong when she suddenly spoke, “Bahala ka sa buhay mo”

I gave my car keys to Raven and let him drive it home. As for me, I decided to wait for my girlfriend again outside her classroom and go home together to talk to her father.

“Bakit nandito ka na naman?” tanong niya.

My brows raised, “Do you really have to ask that?” Yanna fired back for me.

Pamela rolled her eyes on me as she walked past me, but I was quick to hold her hand and walk beside her, which made her hit my bicep.

“Give me the key. I'll drive..” I said softly as I laid my hand.

Surprisingly, she gave me the key silently. I thought she would protest because of my injured foot, but its not that bad and may be she noticed that too. And also, she may be finally have figured that its nonsense to argue with me. Its good, because I am planning to wear the pants in this relationship. Well, not actually always, but at least at some time.

I opened the passenger's door for her and ran on the other side. Immediately, I started the engine with a wide stretch of my lips.

“I changed my mind..” I started without glancing at her. I knew she was looking at me confusedly that's why I continued without waiting for her to speak up, “I figured it would be better if you're the one to tell him about us”

“Pinagsasabi mo?” she scowled. She paused for a second then her eyes went wide as her lips parted as if she had just realized something incredulous. “Ayoko nga! Bakit ako?!” she exclaimed almost hysterical.
