CHAPTER 47

She bowed down her head and starts fidgeting the hem of her shirt. "You might not believe me, but it's her.." her voice starts shaking. "Si Pam, Trystan. I was just asking her again to be my frien--"

I didn't let her finish whatever she's saying. I stepped inside the classroom and everyone became so quiet like something miracle happened when I entered the room. I walked straight to where she was sitting. Our eyes locked and I felt like I want to run into her and give her a very tight hug which was opposite to what I supposed to do.

So, I tried to calm myself and remain my expression as blank as possible that was very difficult by the way. She looked confused as she watched me walking towards her but I can see my cousin on the side, looked disappointed and angry at the same time and I have an idea why. Tss.

"What did you do to her?" I asked coldly.

Not because I already believe or picked Ashley's side kaya ako nagtatanong. I know her. She's not that kind of a person but im not saying Ashley was lying either. Im still giving her a benefit of a doubt.

"Anong ginawa ko sayo" Pam asked confusingly as she shifted her gaze to Ashley.

My brows smashed together. I couldn't believe it! I remained silent as Ashley whined and saw Pam looked so pissed like she wanted to punch Ashley just to make her shut up.

"Liar! You hurt me! Sinabi ko lang na gusto kitang maging kaibigan but what did you do? Nagalit ka kasi sinabi kong ayaw ka na ngayong kasama ni Trystan kaya kinalmot mo ko!" Ashley cried.

I suddenly balled my palm into fist and shut my eyes close. My head ache all of a sudden. I took a deel breath and opened my eyes. I glared at Ashley and shook my head. I never said anything about Pamela to Ashley. I was just distancing myself to her for my own sake. But never did I even think of leaving her for good. I'll still be her friend, no matter what.

Our eyes met and she looked stunned when she realized what she'd said. Mas lalong bumilis ang patak ng luha niya and she looked terrified now. I shifted my gazed back to Pam when she responded at Ashley's accusation.

"Edi okay. Sinaktan ko siya, okay na? Pwede na kayong umalis sa harap ko" Pam shrugged.

"See? You've heard that Trystan? I told you so!" Ashley said as if convincing me to just believe to Pam.

Tss. Napailing ulit ako.

If I wasn't aware of her situation, the bad side of me will gonna show right now. Tss.

I stand still and waited for Pam to meet my eyes, and when it did happen, I almost step forward and hold her in my arms tightly but her words stopped me from doing anything aside from turning back and left the room along with Ashley.
"May kailangan ka pa?"

That's what she's asked. I shook my head and let Ashley dragged me out from their college building. I released a heavy sigh and pulled my hand away from Ashley's grasp.

"I'll go home" I said without looking at her.

I'll talk to her when im already calm. I might hurt her verbally if I talk with her now.

"May klase pa tayo!" Pahabol niya pero hindi ko na lang pinansin.

I shook my head and pursed my lips into thin line. Im disappointed with myself for being impulsive. Tss.

Impulsive decisions won't do anything good. Nagulo ko na lang ang buhok ko at sumakay na sa kotse ko.

My wheels dragged me to the place where I realized I started liking her as a woman. Our treehouse. Yes, it's ours, but she didn't know.
