After a long talk with Dad, I learned that my parents have gone through a lot. And it made cried inwardly. Also, he gave me tips like what I've asked for and I was contented by it. Nga lang, after that talk with him, Mom demanded a talk as well.

“I want to contribute, too!” she exclaimed excitedly.

I sighed.

“Mom, I want to do it on my own,” I calmly said.

She pouted, obviously not letti g this chance to slip off, “But at least let me give you some advice..”

I heaved a sigh again.

My father laughed who was watching us. Defeatedly, I stared at my Mom. Who would have thought that behind those soft features of her, there's an angst hidding inside?

I was serioisly got shocked when Dad told me how was she when they first met. He even said she's his nightmare.. I can't blame him, tho. She punched him and threw a lot of things she could get when she's mad during their younger years.

I felt my lips lifted a bit.

Is that the reason why I instantly got attracted to Pam? After Dad's story, I realized they are quite similar.

“Just teach your son how to tame a girl like you, baby. He'll certainly make her his girlfriend immediately,” Dad chuckled.

Mom smirked at me, as she didn't look offended at what his husband had told her. “Kung matagal ka nang lumapit samin anak, baka matagal nang naging kayo,” she shook her head, “Introduce her to us”

My forehead instantly furrowed, “You already know her”

Mom shook her head once again as she waved her index finger, “Ipakilala mo as the girl you are courting. Believe me, her doubt would vanish”

Hindi na ‘ko nagtaka na alam niya amng issue ni Pam sakin, kahit na kay Dad ko lang sinabi. I knew eversince she learned about Pamela, she kept track on her through Yanna.

“She won't come here,” I stated, because I surely know she won't even consider the idea of coming with me.

Suddenly, Mom laughed, “Edi tayo ang pupunta sa kanya! What are you waiting for?!” she chirped.

“Agad-agad? Mom! I don't think that's a good idea”

“Okay. Tomorrow then. It's settled. Tatawagan ko si Brit to inform her we're coming early in the morning. Call her father and ask him to have lunch with us. Or mas maganda kung magdala na lang tayo ng foods for lunch at doon tayo kumain sa kanila. What can you say, babe?”

“Whatever you want,” Dad answered.

I scowled at them, “Nanliligaw pa lang po ako. Hindi mamamanhikan,” I corrected.

“Pero doon na din pupunta yun,” Mom grinned.

I groaned in response and they laughed at my reaction. But I know deep inside, she's serious about that. Tss.

“Call her father and ask him for lunch tomorrow. Let him decide where to, though, it would be better if we just go to their place para hindi na makatanggi ang future manugang ko..” she giggled.

I shook my head as a smile crept on my lips. It's a good thing my family likes Pamela, siya na lang talaga ang kulang and everything's already fine.

After that family talk, I went to my room and called Papa. I elaborate everything to him and he gladly agreed to our plan. But he was not available for lunch, that's why we settled for dinner instead. That night though, as I was about to sleep. Yanna unexpectedly sent me a picture of the jar I gave to Pam.
