“Anong ginagawa mo dito?” kunot-noong tanong ni Ashley pagkalabas niya ng gate nila.

I beamed at her and opened the cardoor for her. “I treasured my friends,” I simply answered.

I saw the glint in her eyes as she smiled and I couldn't help but smile as well. Nakakatuwa lang na makapagpasaya ka ng taong sobrang lungkot, at least napatunayan kong hindi ako rigid.

“Paano kapag nakita tayo ni Pamela? Baka kung anong isipin nun”

“I already confessed to her and I was still planning on what to do to get her which is I don't have any idea how to,” I chuckled and shook my head.

It's stupid, I know. But that's love. It makes even the very sane person insane and im not an exception.

Umiling si Ashley at hindi na umimik. Tahimik lang kami sa byahe at hindi naman awkward since sanay na ko na hindi kami nag-iimikan talaga.

My forehead creased when I received a message from Raven after I parked the car.

'Bad mood ang Kikay mo :)'

Hindi na bago sakin yun pero ang weird lang ng message niya dahil may smiley?

'What's funny about it?' I replied.

It wasn't took a minute to received a textback.

'Porke't smiley funny agad? Di ba pwedeng happy lang?'

I clicked my tongue and didn't reply anymore. He's becoming playful again. Siguro tahimik niyang nasundo si Yanna without uncle interfering.

“Let's go,” I told Ashley.

We silently walked to our classroom. But the moment I stepped my foot inside, Raven ran towards me with a huge smile plastered on his lips.

“Bro!” sigaw niya habang nakataas pa ang mga kamay na akala mo sumasalubong sa matagal na hindi niya nakitang kaibigan. “Hindi ka na nagreply,” sabi nito.

Hindi ko siya pinansin. Nakakahiya siya. Tuluy-tuloy lang akong naglakad papunta sa upuan ko at tahimik na naupo.

“May tanong ako,” he said as he sat beside me. “Bakit mo nga pala sinundo si Ashley?”

Immediately, I scowled at him. Kailangan pa ba yung itanong? “You know the reason,” sagot ko.

Umiling siya, “Sabi mo, okay na lahat. So, meaning, tapos na ang duty mo sa kanya. Kaya bakit mo siya sinundo pa? Wag mong sabihing nasanay ka na? Nako! Dyan nagsisimula yan e! Paano na si Pam?! Lagot ka kay Yanna bro!”

I glowered at him. Now, I understand Pam's feeling whenever I told her exaggerated conclusions. And damn, I feel her now, it's really annoying.

I shook my head and clicked my tongue, “Tinawagan ako ni Tita kagabi, ang sabi niya, bukas pa raw darating yung driver na nahire nila kaya nakiusap na isabay ko muna ulit si Ashley. Ang lawak ng imagination mo.” I said. I could even hear Pam's words saying those lines. Am I tasting my own medicine now? For real?

“Im just kidding. Masyado kang seryoso. Kung ganyan ka palagi, paano na kayo ni Pam?” Iiling-iling na tanong nito.

I didn't answer him. As if I am this serious whenever im with Pamela? I already pledged to make her happy in any ways so, I don't think my attitude will be a problem anymore once we became official together. I suddenly grinned at that thought.
