"If I loose my grip on you.. I'd fall"

Riddles.

I didn't know I am a kind of person who actually capable of saying double meaning phrases. I shook my head at bigla ko na lang naramdaman na mas bumilis pa yung patakbo niya. I want to shout and stop her but i've promise I won't be a bother to her kaya kung ganito yung gusto niya, fine basta nakayap ako sa kanya.

"Hoo!" I finally breathe when we stopped "Akala ko mamamatay na ko e!" I exclaimed pagbaba ko ng motorbike.

We stopped at the convenience store. I suggested that we should buy snacks and she immediately agreed when I told her i'll take it on me.

"Bumili ka na, hihintayin kita dito" she said then leaned on her bike.

I tilted my head and eyed her "May balak ka bang iwan ako dito?" I accused. But I didn't mean it. Alam ko naman na hindi ganun si Pam.

"Kung may balak akong ganyan, edi sana hindi na ko umalis sa motor."

I thought so.

I stared at her then smiled. "Okay. I trust you"

I walked inside the convenience store and bought assorted snacks. She's never complaining kapag tungkol sa pagkain kaya dinamihan ko na ang bili.

"Let's go" I said.

Sumakay na ulit siya sa bike niya at sinuot yung helmet. I stayed standing while I realized na may hawak ang magkabilang kamay ko.

"Pakisuot naman sakin yung helmet" sabi ko kay Pam.

She scolwed at me. "Bakit ko naman gagawin yan?" she asked.

"Because I can't" I answered then showed her my two hands holding two bags.

She shook her head then she grabbed my helmet. I smiled widely when she wear it on me. Pwede ko naman kasing bitawan yung paperbags but this moment is once in a blue moon. Im already taking advantage so might as well abused it.

Binatukan niya ko pagkasuot sakin ng helmet at sinamaan ng tingin.

"Brutal ka talaga" napailing na lang ako.

"Manahimik"

I smiled again knowing I can hug her again and the saying 'Kapag gusto may paraan' fits my situation. Pinatong ko sa gitna namin yung paperbags saka ko inabot yung bewang niya para mayakap. She flinched again but didn't say anything. Pinaandar niya lang ng mabilis yung motorbike as if it would make me loose my grip and fall. But not a bit chance.

We stopped in front of the big gate.

"Sa inyo to?" I asked.

"Hindi" she answered then the gate opened when the guard saw us.

I frowned.

"Bakit tayo pinapasok ng guard without even asking anything?"

Again, she didn't answer.

"Wow! Meron pa lang ganito dito?" I exclaimed when I saw the man-made lake.

We looked like in the forest. Kulang na lang yung falls but since the falls was missing, it became lake.

Bumaba na ko ng bike at inalis yung suot kong helmet. Dinala ko yung paperbags saka lumapit sa mga batuhan. Sumunod naman sakin si Pam at naupo sa batuhan. Hinubad niya yung sapatos niya saka nilubog yung paa sa tubig. I sat next to her and copied her.

"Subukan mong magsalita at tatahiin ko yang bibig mo"

I didn't answer. I picked the Lays inside the paperbag and opened it then hand it to her. We ate silently. She was just looking ahead whilst I was staring at her. I wonder if we met in different situation. The normal first meeting. Not in the ocean park nor the time nung na carnap yung kotse ko. Would her treatment be different too? Im more thrilled about her reaction dahil alam kong magiging ganito ako sa kanya kahit saan o paano pa kami nagkakilala. I sighed then looked away.
