"So fill us in," Liv requested when we got back.
"Alright. So we ran into one of the nuns there and when we asked her about Father Vincent she just shut down. I'm pretty sure she knows what's going on," I relayed the story to the squad.
"Let's bring her in for questioning."

"It was all a guise?," Sister Marcia was a bit shocked when we told her we were detectives.
"Yeah," I answered. "We couldn't risk you running off to warn him."
"Pity."
My face was red for sure.
"We brought you in to ask you a few questions about Father Vincent," Sonny cut in.
She sat back and looked away from us. "Father Vincent? He's a good priest."
I looked over at the double mirror. "Can you tell us about him? There's a lot of rumors surrounding him."
"He works almost every day. He's a good priest."
We were losing her.
"A lot of families are saying he's a good priest but their children are saying something else," Sonny pointed out.
She started to shake her head and she looked as if she was about to cave. "He's a good priest. He helps kids."
"Is that what he tells you," Sonny prodded.
She looked at us then tears filling up her eyes. "I want a lawyer."

"Magic words," Sonny and myself stepped into Liv's office.
"You saw the way she was in there. She knows," I told Liv.
She agreed. "Let's see if she'll talk with the lawyer."

"One of the priest's there was a convicted felon and a nun has petty theft on her record," Fin sat back in his chair.
"Nothing on our guy, huh?," I sat at my desk.
"Nothing."
We were waiting for the appointed lawyer to get here. I was drinking my coffee when Riley came over to me with a group of kids. Dear lord.
"Riley?"
"They want to talk about Father Vincent."

The whole squad was assigned a child to talk to. My blood was boiling from the fact that there were so many children here. How many more were there?
The young man I was assigned to told me that Father Vincent did touch him and he stopped going but his parents didn't know.
I asked him if he was willing to testify and he told me he would but he was worried about what his parents would do.
"If you want to call them and ask them to come down to the station, we can tell them together."
He paused for a second before answering. "Ok."
"If you change your mind let me know. I don't want you to do anything you're not comfortable with."
He gave me a nod. "Thanks."
I left him to call his parents and headed to where Liv was watching one of the other interrogations.
"Danny says he'll testify," I reported.
"Suzy isn't."
Damn. "Want me to talk to her?"
She shook her head. "She was adamant and she left as soon as I asked her."
I hated this. These kids needed help and they were scared
"Need a break, Garcia?," Liv noticed my clenched hands.
"Just a few seconds," I left her to go into the bathroom to splash some water on my face. I took off my blazer to wet my face, grabbed a few towels to dry off when I heard someone knock on the bathroom door.
"You ok?," Sonny poked his head inside.
"No," I wiped at my face to hide the tears that had fallen but Sonny saw them.
"Wanna talk about it?"
"No," I pulled my blazer back on and walked past Sonny to go back to Liv's office. I needed to pull myself together, I don't want anyone to think I can't handle SVU.
"Can we go get this guy yet?"
Liv looked at me with worry. "Close the door."
I did as she asked.
"Are you going to be ok with this unit? This will take a toll on anyone else but we have a duty to the people who walk through those doors."
"I'll be fine. It just hurts so much how cruel people can be, I want to see the victims get justice. These kids."
She was weary of me and I understood why. "Ok. Go pick him up."
When I turned away from her I smiled.
