Sonny and I took a squad car and drove our way to bag the priest. When we got there we stormed straight into his office, he had a kid on his lap.
"What are you-?"
"Father Vincent, you are under arrest," Sonny cuffed him while I checked to see if the little boy was alright.

"There's been a misunderstanding. I would never harm a child," the Father pleaded.
I scoffed at his attempt of innocence. I was watching the interrogation with Sonny, Rollins, and Barba. Liv and Fin were talking to Father Vincent.
"When my detectives went to your office you had a child on your lap," Liv accused.
"I was asking the young man where he had gotten the bruise on his arm," the Father shook his head.
She looked at the mirror when he said this, I walked out to go check on the little guy.
He was in the room next to Liv's office with toys and coloring books. When I entered the room he looked up but then looked down. His father was with him and he looked worried.
"Is that "man" talking," the dad was trying not to swear in front of his son.
"Not really but we'll get him to talk. I need to talk to your son really quick, is that ok?," I walked over to the small table and sat across from them.
He nodded.
"Hey, Will, how are you feeling," I spoke softly to him.
"Ok," he whispered.
"That's good. Do you like dinosaurs?," I noticed he was playing with some of the ones we had.
He nodded.
"Which ones your favorite?"
"T-Rex."
"Ooh! Do you wanna hear my favorite?"
He smiled and nodded.
"Brachiosaurus. The Long Necks," I pointed at the one on the table.
He smiled. "They are cool."
"Yeah."
"I like stegosaurus too."
"Really! Me too!"
He laughed. I leaned forward a bit to check his arms and I didn't see anything. "Hey Will. Can you show me your arms?"
"Why?"
"I wanna see how strong you are," I took off my jacket to show him my arms. "Let's compare muscles."
He laughed. "Ok." He stood up and flexed his arms. There were no bruises.
"Hey look at all that muscle. You could be the Hulk!"
"Really!"
"Yup. Look at my arms," I showed him mine. "Like Wonder Woman!"
"I like her, she's cool," he said with a smile.

"There were no bruises on the kid. That guy lied," I told Barba.
He knocked on the window.
Sonny looked over at me with a smile on his face. "Nice job with the kid."
I smiled back. "Thanks."
Liv came in but Fin stayed grilling the guy. "What's wrong?"
"Garcia checked the kid. There isn't a bruise on him," Barba shook his head.
She stepped back a bit and then went back to the room.
"You lied, Father. Isn't that one of the sins?"
"About what?," Father Vincent leaned back in his chair.
"The little boy doesn't have a bruise on him."
The father shrugged. "Must have faded."
Liv laughed. "A bruise that you noticed happened to fade in less than half an hour?"
He shrugged again. "I want my lawyer."

"He knows he's gonna lose. Why else would he ask for lawyer," I was talking to the squad while we waited for Sonny to come back with lunch.
"Yup. Only a guilty man or a smart one calls for a lawyer," Fin agreed.
Just then Will and his dad came over to us.
"He wanted to say goodbye," the dad smiled.
"Bye, detective!," Will came up to me and shook my hand.
"Aww, thank you, Will. Or should I say The Hulk?"
He started to flex his arms, laughing at the same time.
I gave Will's dad a card. "If anything comes up, don't hesitate to call."
He gave me a smile and thanked me before leaving.
When I sat back down Fin looked at me.
"What," I asked.
"The kid's dad was checking you out."
"What!," I looked at the door but they had already left.
"He's gonna call you but it's not gonna be about the investigation," Fin laughed.
My cheeks started to warm up. "Shut up, Fin."
He laughed even more.
"What's so funny," Sonny came in with the sandwiches.
"The kid's dad likes Garcia," Fin wiped away tears from laughing so hard.
Sonny smirked. "Really?"
I grabbed my sandwich and leaned back in my chair. "Fin thinks so."
"I know it," he retorted.

The court date was really long. There were so many witnesses and victims on this case. Enough to put this guy away for life. It took a toll on the jury as well, two of them had to ask for a recess to gather themselves.
The priest took it all, he didn't look fazed at all. In fact he looked smug. One of the victims actually had a break down on the stand because of his lack of compassion.

The third week of trial was coming to an end when the jurors said that they were ready to convene. So we waited but it wasn't long before they had the verdict.
Guilty. On all accounts. This bastard was gonna go to jail for life.
