Chapter 42: Ships

Shelby's POV

I woke up in the middle of the night by Cory yelling in his sleep, after we talked for a bit, he fell back to sleep. I got cold on the floor, I knew I could just go to my room, but I was worried about him, and I did not know why. I climbed into his bed and made a pillow barrier between us. I laid down and snuggled into the blankets. I closed my eyes and when I opened them again, it was morning.
The pillow barrier did not work well, because I woke up snuggled close to Cory who was at the edge of the bed. I laughed to my self seeing I had pushed Cory to the corner. I didn't move though. I didn't want to wake him, but it was awkward because my arms were wrapped around him.

"Curse my urge for hugging things in my sleep." I mumbled to myself. If I wasn't hugging him, there was a big chance he would have fallen off the bed by now. There was a slight knock at the door and I let go of Cory quickly, who fell off the bed startled. He landed with a thud.

"Sorry." I said.

He peaked over the bed rubbing his head because he hit his head on the night stand.
"Oww." He grumbled.

He stood up with a yawn." Not the best sleep, and I've been woken up in worse ways." He said with a smile.

"Some one knocked on the door." I said.

He nodded then walked to the door and opened it. He bent down, grabbed something then closed the door. He had a package in his hand.

"Hope you enjoy." Cory said reading a note. He sat on the bed and opened the box. He pulled out his old mask then another one that was wrapped. He unwrapped it and sure enough was a camera mask, like a full on camera with a lens and everything.
"Cool." Cory said. Then flipped it over to look inside, "I could see fine, and it can actually zoom in. You think it can record too?" He asked.

I shrugged. The camera mask was bigger then the old one, and obviously had the lens sticking out of it, but the lens was blue instead of black. It also had a red piece on it that was glowing. "I think this means it is recording." I said and pointed to the red piece, if it is glowing it's recording, if it's not recording then it is not glowing."

Cory nodded with a grin and put the mask on. He then looked at me.
"I could see in the dark before, but this is just ridiculous!" He said. "So, did you have a good sleep, seeing you took over my fort bed." He said.

I smiled at him,"Yup, no nightmares."

He patted my head then yawned." Well that makes one of us." He then got up and opened the closet and pulled some clothes.
"I'm gonna change, I'll meet up with you guys later, check on Nick for me?" He said with a smile as he threw a shirt onto the bed. I nodded and got up and headed for Nick's room. I closed the door on my way out.

I knocked on Nick's door and he opened it with a yawn.
"You okay?" I asked.

"It's like 8 in the morning." Nick whined.

"You know that isn't early right?" I asked with a confused look.

"It is for me." He said rubbing his eyes. Why were you in Cory's room?"

"He keeps having weird dreams."

"About what." Nick asked curiously.

"Well, this time it was about Ghetto poisoning Mitch." I said.

"But isn't Ghetto a good guy?" Nick asked looking up at me with big eyes.

"Yeah, that is why I told Cory to ignore it."

"But should he?" Nick asked me looking straight into my eyes.

I could only smile at him and walk away. I went back to Cory's room, and knocked on the door, no answer. So then I went to Ross' room, he was sleeping with a grin, and was cuddling his chicken plush. Aphmua then tapped my shoulder,
"Breakfast will be prepared soon, we can wake Ross now, or let him rest, it is your call."
