Chapter 67: Fallen Kingdom

Shelby's POV

A month has passed and we were now ready for the attack. Everyone had gotten their entity to work except for me.

I stood armored up with my friends, my family. I was ready to fight with them I was ready to end this insane war. I was nervous, I was shaking but Ross gave me a reassuring smile.

I walked around and found Cory about to go with his group. I stopped him before he left.

"Cory!" I shouted and he turned around.

"Yes Shelby?" He asked.

I was nervous and ansy.
"Come back in one piece." I said in a serious tone but still smiling.

"Can't make any promises." He said grinning behind his mask. He turned away and began to walk away.

"Cory." I said and he turned around again."Stay safe. Okay?" I said and he nodded and walked away. I went back to my station still unsure of my feelings.

Ashlie's POV

I was waiting in hell. The attack was going to begin soon and once it started we had to work fast. Ross had been secretly coming here and dug a tunnel system out for the kids to leave.

It was done now and I was just waiting for the signal to start leading the kids out.

I heard Tommy shout,"Look at my cheeky smile!" Which was the signal and I cloned my self.

Each clone opened a cage and led the kids through the tunnels. I knew the clones would protect them and left to join the battle my self.

I ran through the portal to see people running while being chased by skeletons.

Tommy was laughing as well and I noticed some people had began running in walls or were just rolling on the floor.

I swung my sword slicing at soldiers leaving a trail of bodies behind me. I found Uni, Cory, and Mitch as planned. They were near a bridge and were heading to the other side.

"Shoot here, here, and here." Uni said pointing at different areas to the bridge.

Mitch flew up into the air and released three massive fire balls to the bridge.

It grumbled and creaked as it gave in to its own weight then completely crumbled before our eyes.

Uni looked pleased with himself then began to look around and run off. We followed close behind ready to attack where we were told.

We went inside the castle after we destroyed the 3rd bridge. It was big and scary just like always, and there seemed to be an unspoken pain among the damp walls.

Uni looked around and saw the throne. A man sat their with a cloak over his head.

Cory froze at the sight and didn't move. Me and Tommy stared angrily at the man.

"Traitor." He said in a low whisper.

"Yeah ah ha." Tommy said in a very annoying voice.

"You are the traitor!" I yelled finally letting out my anger.

"I will have your head Ashlie, then your friends will join you." The cloaked man said rising from his chair.

"Wrong, we will have yours! You took us from our home, our families, our kingdom and made us into your pawns!" I shrieked as I let my full wrath go on.

"Stupid girl, you had no home, no family to go back to. I gave you a new kingdom that will appreciate your skill and attributes." The cloaked man said trying to persuade me.
