Chapter 61: Spiritual Journey

Jin's POV

I have been practicing my method sense I thought of it. Magic is a link to power, to have power you need confidence which I had very little. So I've been trying to speak to the others more, and give them my opinion on things more.

I believe it was working. I had a dream of this yellow outline. It looked at me and it's glow was getting brighter, it urged me to move toward it, but I couldn't. I was still scared... shy. I knew I needed to build my confidence up even more.

I have been helping Adam with calming his mind. Basically I was teaching him some meditation techniques, and they seemed to be working. Adam wasn't jumping off the walls as much.

To help Ross, Rex volunteered to get him ticked off, I didn't know what he would do, but it wasn't working yet.

Mitch successfully got his entity to kindle. Now he had full control of the spirit of fire, and was more powerful. He told me he held on to Hope. I was happy with that outcome proving my theory was right.

Jerome had left to go on a 'spiritual journey' to reconnect with the animals, hoping that would rekindle his entity. Hopefully when he came back, he will have control of the enity.

I heard a loud crash and I ran outside.

"Give me it back Rex!" Ross yelled furiously.

Shelby was trying to get some toy chicken from Rex but failed.

"If you want it, come and get it!" Rex yelled with a grin, and pulled his mask over his face with a laugh.

"I swear Re-"

"Swear what Ross? Swear you are gonna do nothing while you watch your chicken burn?" Rex said cutting off Ross.

"You wouldn't dare!" Ross shouted.

Rex began to move closer to a little torch and swing the toy over the flame.

"Nooo!" Ross shouted and a wave of Earth spit up from the ground launching Rex who flew backwards.

Ross' necklace began to glow brighter and brighter as he concentrated on one thing... anger.

Ross' POV

I felt a rush of exhilaration and I felt angry at the Prodótis kingdom. They started the war... they killed so many people, they took so many kids, they have two of my friends, they will pay.

I let out a massive shout and the earth trembled and cracked as I let go of anger.

I felt a rush of power, but power was something I didn't need. My vision became hazy and the world began to spin around me. Soon I felt myself fall to the ground, and the world going black.

I stood up, and there was an outline of a brown glowing figure. It looked at me and stepped closer. It ran around in circles, then approached me and backed away from me.

I decided to approach it, I stepped closer and it stayed still.

"Was this what Jin was talking about? Rekindling the entity?" I mumbled as I held out my hand to the human like outline.

As I got closer, the ground trembled and I lost balance.

"Stop!" I shouted at the figure.
It stopped and looked at me, then began to shake again.

"Control your anger." I thought to myself and I began to walk faster to the figure.

Pieces of the earth flew at me, I dodge quickly and progressed torwards the entity.

Right before I could touch it, it built a massive wall separating me from it.

"Seriously!" I yelled at it in anger." Wait I have to control it, remember, control..."
