Chapter 11

                 Alice-

  I don't know why everyone's so worried about our parents missing us.I'll come back to them...one day. I like this place. Truth fully, more than I like earth. The sky is bluer, it smells nicer (A bit like rosemary), I have wings, and the bubble tea is a thousand times better than the bubble tea at my previous home. But truth be told, If I wasn't here with Sky and July, I wouldn't want to be here. I wouldn't make any friends.

  I was pondering this in my nice big bed when suddenly, Sky ran into the room, sweat trickling down her face. Was she jogging in her bedroom?

  "Sky! what are you doing! it's....like, early in the morning!" I sat up groggily, rubbing my eyes. I was relieved that I went to bed in my clothes.

  "Get up! now! My dad.....he..he said someones coming! But I don't think it's good company..Alice we gotta get July and go! Now!" Sky was panicking and before I could react to her blathering nonsense, I was being pulled out of my comfortable silk bed and to July's room.

  After we got July out of bed, thankfully she was clothed to, and Alice was forcing me to sprout my amazing wings. I couldn't think of a reason why Sky was doing this! What was her deal,

  "Sky! whats going on!" July asked, wide eyed,  wringing her hands together.

  "I don't know! We have to get to the forest! That's what Lord Eau said!" Sky was screaming. It was just one thing after the next.

  "Okay! Okay!" I said, I had enough. I squeezed my eyes shut and in a split second, I felt the wings come out freely. I stood up straight and grabbed my friends without hesitation. If this is what Sky wanted to do, then be it, I wasn't complaining. I liked flying.

  Soon we were up and out. Then I saw what was going on once we were flying towards the safety of the trees. The fire. The figures in long blue cloaks, spears scraping the grass by their sides. Sky didn't see...but I did. I saw one of the figures kill Sky's father. I saw him come out with that look of fear and  sadness displayed across his lined face. He noticed us in the sky and smiled just before the leader of the enemies sliced him down the middle. I couldn't watch. It was so easy.....Thats when I thought. Sky walkers. I flew higher and faster. We needed to get away.
