Chapter 16

We've been walking for hours and my legs feel like rubber, the sun feels as if it's gotten hotter and hotter over the hours, and the forest seems to never end. We've stopped and rested and drank the water we collected from the lake and eaten the edible mushrooms growing on the mossy trees. But were tired and it's getting dark. The sun is melting below the sky and the moon is beginning to show it's blue outline along the blacking sky, here an then I notice a small patch or two of twinkling stars just making their appearance. It's time to find a place to rest for the night.

We walk and walk until we find a large tree, a massive hollow room is built into it by nature. It's the perfect spot to rest. Just as the night has fully begun, we set up our moss and leave strewn beds inside the cozy tree trunk, and fall asleep. Sleep comes easier than expected, due to the circumstances. And as my eyes begin to get heavy, I begin to think about where were going..what is our destination. Maybe by the time we get there...we'll know.
