Chapter 19

I have been wandering the forest for days searching for Sky and her friends. My father gave me specific orders to bring them back to the castle and kill them. I'm tired and bored and truthfully.....I don't like killing people. Or hunting them down. I'm more like my kind forgiving mother.....whom my dad killed. He killed her because she wouldn't kill the guy with the rotten potatoes.....er....other story.

So here I am, walking across this large, flower filled valley. The sky is an entrancing blue and I think to myself about how my whole family lives up in space...were it's dark and cold and lifeless. I guess my father likes that sorta stuff...lifeless.

I felt bad for slapping Zayne's hand...but what else was I going to do! My father sent me a telepathy to do it..I couldn't let him down. That's our power...reading minds and sending mental visions and thoughts. It's what all us Sky Walkers can do. We can't do anything else. Not like them.

I was wondering what I would do when I found them. Surely I wouldn't bring them back. I don't want them to die. Maybe I can continue their running with them. Maybe I could escape from my father. I smiled as I walked through the trees....It's a plan.

Then I began to think.....I did see what all of them looked like, when my dad took the surveillance videos of them secretly while we were planning our attack. Sky, with her dark brown hair and hazel eyes and her whimsical power to grow nature. July, with her blonde brown hair and her jumpy excited attitude, almost like a kid, and her incredible ability to control weather and electricity. Simon, with his wavy black hair and soft kind attitude, and his sweet ability to talk to animals, and Sky's mysterious brother Zayne who obviously has the biggest crush on July.....And then there was Alice....she had brown hair to..and her flamboyant attitude and her grieving eyes, her know it all smile, and her powerful wings. I think I would like to get to know her.
