Incline your earn and hear
the words of the wise,
And apply your heart to my
knowledge;
For it is a pleasant thing if
you keep them within you;
Let them all be fixed upon
your lips,
So that your trust may be
in the LORD;
I have instructed you today,
even you.
Proverbs 22:17-19Listen to wise people, listen. So many people are way to busy talking. Read the Bible and live in God's Word - I'm trying my best. The last line really caught my eye; even you, really touches my heart.
A woman I follow on Twitter did something interesting today - I will get to it in a minute. I have felt kinda disconnected from God lately; He hasn't spoken to me through Scripture like He has in the past. I need to back up; He always speaks to me, but I mean really speak to me, where there is no doubt. I want God to speak to me every day, but I know He is busy. I asked Him last night if He would speak to me, at least say hello.
Today this woman, on Twitter, posted Romans 10:17 -So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Yeah, I know, so what. Last night, while reading the Bible, I came across this same verse. It touched me, because I always wanna strengthen my faith, and I wrote it down on a sticky note to post on my bathroom mirror.
I only have a few verses (one passage) on my mirror: the 23rd Psalm, 1 Timothy 1:15, Proverbs 3:5,6, what God told me, "Walk with me, my son. Walk in faith," and now Romans 10:17. Coincidence, not really, He has spoken to me through the Holy Spirit via Scripture many times. The only thing I can say, besides I love you Father, is that I have been faithfully reading His Word. I am still working on walking in the ways He set for me - Help me, Father! Tell God you love Him.Note - the woman would write many things about God, but not quote too much Scripture. Many wonderfully amazing things have happened since I first wrote this. God, if you please Him, will speak to you. People will say that these are coincidences, but they aren't - I have many, many, and too many written in these books (and I know of at least one that is not). That one freaked me out, and I wrote about it, read it, and deleted it. There are no coincidences with God. He knows exactly what you did and what you are gonna do.
Note - seems like ages ago. My whole bathroom mirror is filled with Scripture on sticky notes.
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Please read your Bible.

SpiritualReading God's Word is truly an enlightening, on-going experience; one that I truly enjoy. I began posting His Word in "My Highlighted Bible Verses" and couldn't stop. He started talking to me through Scripture, some of the messaging is beyond me...
