The LORD GOD has sworn by
Himself,
The LORD GOD of hosts says:
"I abhor the pride of Jacob,
And hate his palaces;
Therefore I will deliver up.
the city
And all that is in it."
Amos 6:8
God doesn't like pride, which is promoted by selfish behavior. Kinda interesting because I am reading Job right now. I am understanding a lot more than the first time I read it - self-righteous pride.
We are not capable of questioning God. He put us on the earth to serve Him. No matter what happens in your life, good or bad, trust and love God. It can get hard, but He is always there for you. Tell God that you love Him.
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Please read your Bible.
