     Now Solomon made a treaty with Pharaoh king of Egypt, and married Pharaoh's daughter; then he brought her to the City of David until he had finished building his own house, and the house of the LORD, and the wall around Jerusalem.
                            1 Kings 3:1

     Of all people to marry - the Pharaoh's daughter.  King Solomon had seven hundred wives and three hundred concubines, one thousand women in total.  They were from different nations and worshiped different gods.
     The more I read about King Solomon the more I think that that the best part of King Solomon's tenure was that he was King David's son.  He did build God's temple.  The biggest fault I have with King Solomon is that he worshiped other gods.
      God blessed King Solomon and got mad at him - this is when Israel split (Israel had ten tribes).  Rehoboam, King Solomon's son, also had his problems with the people contributing to the split.  I have written quite a bit about King Rehoboam and King Jeroboam which was not a very good time for Israel.  Make sure to tell God that you love Him!

The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

     Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.  Please read your Bible.
