Faith Is The Key

PAUL, Silvanus, and Timothy,

To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,
so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure,
which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer;
since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you,
and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the LORD Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
2 Thessalonians 1:1-7

I was thinking about Paul earlier. Man, his job was tough, and why? Spreading the word of Jesus Christ; seriously, think about it for a minute. What do you think?
Christians have been persecuted forever. This passage mentions the "persecutions and tribulations that you endure." But also mentions the "righteous judgment of God."
Faith is mentioned twice; I believe faith is the key. I personally haven't been persecuted because of my belief in God, at least not that I know about. Everything just changes when you realize the power and glory of God. This is where faith becomes extremely important.
Ok, it just happened again! I am watching Wheel of Fortune, the bonus round, and the puzzle was "Always Faithful." That sums it up for me. Tell God you love him.

Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is:  'Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one.
    'And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.'  This is the first commandment.
    "And the second, like it, is this:  'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'  There is no other commandment greater than these."
                         Mark 12:29-31
