Daniel 9:20-24

Now while I was speaking, praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God,
yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering.
And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, "O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill to understand.
"At the beginning of your supplications the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved; therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision:

"Seventy weeks are determined
For your people and for your holy
city,
To finish the transgression,
To make an end of sins,
To make reconciliation for iniquity,
To bring in everlasting righteousness,
To seal up vision and prophecy,
And to anoint the Most Holy.
Daniel 9:20-24

I think that I have turned to this passage before, and had no clue - so I don't think I posted anything (about 99.9% sure). Well guess what? I still don't have a clue. My research didn't really turn anything up either.
God wants me to know, so I will be patient and do as He asks. At the beginning of chapter nine, Darius (son of Ahasuerus) was announced in his first year as king. This has to be the same King Ahasuerus, the one that married Esther, the one who ruled over 27 provinces from from India to Ethiopia.
"Satan," two entries ago also mentions the "holy mountain of God." I think this mountain is in heaven - God's throne. What is the significance? Don't know, only that I am trying to understand the Bible. God seems to allow me to understand something, so I can understand something else. I think it is interesting that Gabriel told Daniel that he would give him the skill to understand.
Daniel was extremely intelligent yet he had trouble understanding. I have to include this verse -

(Behold, you are wiser than Daniel! There is no secret that can be hidden from you!
Ezekiel 28:3

Obviously there is more as the parentheses indicates, but we just needed this part. This is the same chapter in Ezekiel that the passage, "Satan" came from. So there is some connection.
Back to the above passage, the last two lines got me. I know that Daniel was told that the words were sealed up until the time of the end. The "Most Holy," the footnote in my Bible says this is a place. The line says to anoint, and I guess you could anoint a place, but I always think about anointing a person.
I know there is more, but this is what God wanted me to post - He is such a kind God; He didn't want my head to explode. What is the message? The message I get - God is in control. He will let me understand what He wants when He wants. Make sure that you tell God that you love Him!

Note - this already happened, the Coming of Jesus, the Messiah.  The years are pinpoint accurate.  Don't want to comment further, or really can't. 

The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
