Day Of Wrath

     The great day of the LORD is near;
     It is near and hastens quickly.
     The noise of the day of the LORD is
          bitter;
     There the mighty men shall cry out.
     That day is a day of wrath,
     A day of trouble and distress,
     A day of devastation and desolation,
     A day of darkness and gloominess,
     A day of clouds and thick darkness,
     A day of trumpet and alarm
     Against the fortified cities
     And against the high towers.

    "I will bring distress upon men,
      And they shall walk like blind men,
      Because they have sinned against the
           LORD;
      Their blood shall be poured out like
            dust,
      And their flesh like refuse."
                      Zephaniah 1:14-17

    Does any of this sound good?  First of all, it says that this a day of wrath.  If the mighty men cry out, then what is everyone else gonna do?  This is punishment for sinning against the LORD, of which we are guilty - very guilty.  People don't seem to know that the Bible is the Living Word.  People don't seem to know that we will all be judged; yes, even people who don't believe in God.  I feels sorry for people that are unaware and don't listen.
      I, when I write some things, end up feeling weird or guilty; so I delete parts or all of that entry.  Yesterday, I wrote something about God's time being near, and look at the first line of this passage - and I deleted that paragraph.  I don't feel right (writing this) and  funny thing is that nobody is probably gonna read this.
      I know part of the reason why I am doing this, but don't know the whole reason.  Something is up.  I know that I am not wasting my time.  Let me back up, I know why people are not reading these, but not why I am still writing these entries.  Don't get me wrong, I love God's Word.  This is a great way to study the Bible.  I look forward to understanding why I am doing this - all in His time.  Tell God you love Him. 

Note - you have no clue how difficult it was for this guy to write this, at this time.  To me, it feels like this guy is totally a different person, and to a certain extent, I was.  Nothing is easy with God, He makes you work.  I wasn't ready and hadn't put my time in.  If you are in a similar situation - be patient, it is all worth the time and effort!

And give you peace.
