     In that day a man will look to his
         Maker,
     And his eyes will have respect
         for the Holy One of Israel.
     He will not look to the altars,
     The work of his hands;
     He will not respect what his fingers
         have made,
     Nor the wooden images
         nor the incense altars.
                          Isaiah 17:7,8

      I knew I posted this in MY HIGHLIGHTED BIBLE VERSES, the entry is entitled "That Day  Is Coming," so I had to do a bit of searching.  I actually posted another entry, but I promised God that I would post what I opened to, unless I caused the mishap.
      This passage, of course, refers to the people making and worshiping wooden idols.  One day we will all be judged.  I also have the next verse highlighted -

     In that day his strong cities
will be as a forsaken bough
And an uppermost branch,
Which they left because of
the children of Israel;
And there will be desolation.
                Isaiah 17:9

     This chapter is entitled "Prophecy Against Damascus."  The bough and the branch mean the Hivites and Amorites.  I am in Exodus and remembered the land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites. - from latter half of Exodus 3:8
      I guess this land is up  in Syria, but I am gonna check out the current situation in Damascus, Syria.  See, if I didn't post this, then I wouldn't have known.  I am still gonna post the other passage.  Also, I am writing down, in order, what God had Aaron and Moses do in Egypt - God's wondrous miracles.
       I will share with you (with reading the Bible for the third time) now I can identify what needs to be written down.  :-)  It helps me to write important things down.  I knew the first time I read the Bible that I was reading and absorbing what I could, which was not much.  It takes time and God will help - I don't want any of you getting frustrated.  It is really cool when God lets you understand something.  Tell Him that you love Him.

The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Please read your Bible.

Trouble and anguish make him
         afraid;
     They overpower him,
         like a king ready for battle.
     For he stretches out his hand against
         God,
     And acts defiantly against the
          Almighty,
     Running stubbornly against Him
     With his strong, embossed shield.
                         Job 15:24-26
