"Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: 'Because you have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are uncovered, so that in
all your doings your sins appear---because you have come to remembrance, you shall be taken in hand.' "
Ezekiel 21:24
This, to me, means that you ask for forgiveness of your sins and be done with them. I seem to carry my sins around with me for a while, even though I have asked for forgiveness. God wants us to move on and forget sin.
"All your doings your sins appear"
has me staring. If you remember your sins, then they are with you wherever you may go. Remembering can also mean that you haven't asked for forgiveness and changed your ways.
Ok, the people of Judah are about to be attacked and taken captive by King Nebuchadnezzar. The Living Word is so deep. It pertains to us in today's world as it did back thousands of years ago. What is amazing to
me - God and Jesus never change. Make sure to tell God that you love Him!
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
