"Son of man, when a land sins against Me by persistent unfaithfulness, I will stretch out My hand against it; I will cut off its supply of bread, send famine on it and cut off man and beast from it.
"Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness," says the Lord GOD.
Ezekiel 14:13,14I wonder about the Middle East, they are mainly Muslim; and many Jews still don't believe Jesus is the Son of God. The population in Yemen is 24 million; guess how many Christians - a whopping 2,500. I need to research this and Paul, before I comment further.
I included these verses because I have been looking for them. I wonder why God said Noah, Daniel, and Job; although there are a whole books in the Bible written about them (they wrote), Daniel and Job. Noah built an ark and trusted God, and God trusted him.
I really like Daniel. He admitted that he didn't understand some of his visions. Noah and his family were the only ones to survive the flood. God helped Job realize all his shortcomings. Great righteous men, I still will research. Tell God that you love Him!Note - I just reread this, and I missed the point again. I was so interested in why God said those three men (Noah, Daniel, and Job), that I didn't focus on the important fact that the land was sinning against God. I think God is telling us that we can only do so much; regardless of who we are.
God, in my opinion, is also demonstrating His might. He is greater than anyone - He is it!The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Please read your Bible.
