Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law says.
And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church.
Or did the word of God come originally from you? Or was it you only that it reached?
If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord.

I opened here, but it is important where I finished, bear with me. In my opinion, everyone should be quiet in church. We do need to rethink a few things, though. Let's move on to this next verse -
"How long will you gad about,
O you backsliding daughter?
For the LORD has created a new thing
in the earth---
A woman shall encompass a man."
Jeremiah 31:22
Supposedly one of the hardest verses to understand in the Bible. I found another verse which may help -
"But if the LORD creates a new thing, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into the pit, then you will understand that these men have rejected the LORD."
Numbers 16:30
Later, the earth opened and swallowed Korah and his companions. Yes, this was the thing that the LORD created, something different or special.
So I did a little research that did mention Jesus. The "new thing" is impregnating a woman through the Holy Spirit, without a man. It also says "A woman" and "a man," in the singular form.
So Israel and Jerusalem need to shape up. A woman will encompass (surround, encircle, enclose) a man in her womb - this woman is Mary and the man is Jesus. Hard verse to understand, not with God's help and some research help. Make sure you tell God that you love Him.
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Please read your Bible.
