*• Chapter Three •
Raven's Point of View
"Crap," Everette muttered.
We quickly grabbed our stuff and went to school. We didn't even hear our alarms, and we didn't even eat breakfast.
"We're so late," Cora stated.
"Doesn't matter now, does it?" I asked as we rushed to the car. It turns out; my mood swings were my time of the month. How freaking peachy. Not.
Within twelve minutes, we arrived at school, extremely late. Everette and Declan were incredibly calm, so was I, but Cora wasn't.
"Why are you so jumpy today?" I asked although this was only our morning mood talking.
Honestly, it was bizarre of her to be acting this way. I found it so unusual of her behavior.
"I don't know; it's just a feeling, I suppose," Cora stated. We walked in our class, and all eyes were on us.
"It's nice to have you in class." Ms. Dorothy stated.
She didn't like the fact we came late. Then again, we've never given a crap whether we're late to class. We show up because we have to, not because we like to.
"Sorry, we just woke up late, Miss," Declan stated.
"Heard that before, although it doesn't matter." She was annoyed but continued class nonetheless.
"See nothing to worry about," I said to Cora, although she still seemed nervous.

It was now fifth period, and I was worn out and tired of my classes.
"Must we go to class so early?" I asked, annoyed.
Declan let out a small chuckle, "Yes, we must. It's just this class, and we'll go to lunch then one more."
The four of us walked in class and just sat next to each other. Our teacher was about to say something when a very familiar girl walked in.
"Andrea Grey, it's nice to have you back." Mr. Jackson stated.
Andrea is my best friend; she knew everything that happened with my parents and Declan. Andrea then walked towards our table and immediately hugged me.
"It's good to see you, Andrea," Cora stated with a smile.
"Who's this?" Declan asked with amusement in his eyes.
"I'm Raven's best friend," Andrea stated.
"Raven, you've never spoken about her," Declan stated while giving Andrea a wide smile.
"I didn't think she would just show up without telling me first." I defended myself with a small chuckle.
"She's right, sorry, Raven, I forgot to tell you. I just got here yesterday. I was too busy, unpacking." Andrea confirmed.
