**** A/N: Initially, this was a two-part chapter, but I decided to merge them. Things begin to get hectic from here on out, sorry for any grammar mistakes. Also, this is a 4K word chapter. ****

{ A Month Later... }

Raven's Point of View

So after the entire chaos, the hectic circumstances were over, things finally went back to normal. Well, whatever the hell normal was.

Sometimes Malakai left for unknown reasons, but that's about it. Nothing out of the ordinary or at least nothing I could notice. Today was extremely hectic due to the trip. We were permitted to go but for at least five days. Which is pretty good, and I was looking forward to it.

I still didn't know where Kai was taking us. Good thing today was the last day of the semester, and we took the day off to get our stuff organized. This semester went by like a blur.

"Where do you think Kai is taking us? Because Gavin doesn't even know either, and they live together." Cora stated, handing me a popsicle.

"I don't know. Kai didn't give me any clue or even a hint." I mumbled in annoyance.

She sighed and finished packing up her stuff. I had my things packed already, so I watched her suffer while eating my popsicle. While waiting for her to finish, I suddenly remembered what Malakai said a few weeks back.

I'm in love with you... but I mess everything up.

I don't even know if he meant it or not. Ever since that night, those words haunt me. A part of me wants to believe it, but another doesn't need to get my hopes up too soon.

"Hello? Earth to Raven." Cora snaps her fingers in front of my face. "Oh, sorry, I did it again, didn't I? What were you saying?" I asked, throwing away the stick and trash from the popsicle.

"I said, let's go, the boys are waiting downstairs," Cora said. With that, I grabbed my phone and went downstairs. "Great, now I think it's time to meet up with everyone else at the airport," Everette stated as he closed the trunk.

We all decided to get a lift from Dawson. He insisted and came early only because he's the one that drops off the kids.

"I'll see you guys later. I need to drop off the kiddos." Dawson tells Jessica and Michael.

They nod, and they came up to us, wishing us luck and to be safe. "Sure thing, mom, we'll be back before you know it," Everette reassured them.

With one last hug, we all got in the car, and we were off. Something about the hug felt weird, and I didn't want to let go, but I did nonetheless.

By the time we arrived at the airport, the others were here. The only ones missing were Kai and Gavin. "Seriously, that guy makes us come, and he's not even here," Corey says as we began to get bored.

"Maybe they woke up late?" I said, trying to keep myself sane too. We waited for another five minutes until an older looking male walked up to us.

"You must be the friends of Mr. Cane, right?" He asked to which we nodded.

"Well come on then, follow me I'm his Butler Henry. Mr. Cane's mother was able to get you a private plane." He said as we followed him.

Malakai's dad died way too early, and all he was able to leave was his money. Kai's dad was a nice and loving father. He passed away when Kai was eight years old. His death was shocking, considering he was healthy. To this day I don't believe it, it's complete rubbish to me.
