{ A Week Later... }

Raven's Point of View

"That brings back memories," I say as I watch Alessandra's back collapse harshly onto the cold hard cement ground.

Blaise, Gavin, and Declan agreed that Alessandra needed to be trained like any other gang member would. Firstly, she was taught some basics in self-defense, then the different types of weapons, afterward, how to cause pain or torture an individual. Lastly, how to use weapons and defend herself when approached with a gun, it was a lot to take in, but I plan on enduring all of that once my child is born.

"Watching me suffer brings back memories!" Alessandra shouts as she falls on her butt yet again. "Yeah, pretty much the same thing I dealt with Ian and Dawson," I say as Blaise throws a dagger at Alessandra but quickly and swiftly dodges it.

"Good, I call it a day." Blaise finalizes as he begins to clean up his training room. Alessandra wasted no time and collapsed on the floor.

"I will start my nap, Raven, we have an appointment in like two hours," Alessandra speaks up as I laughed and helped Blaise with ordering his weapons and other things to their place.

"You think you can deal with that, Raven?" Blaise asks as I place back a couple of daggers and torturing knives back in their drawer.

"Absolutely," I say and place a gun in its holster back into the armory part of the room.

"Are we finally going to find out the gender?" Blaise asks as he helps me walk back to the living room.

As I near my sixth month in my pregnancy, my stomach started to show. A lot more than what I expected and surely it looked over the sixth month. My monthly check-ups always said that everything was just okay, but Blaise and Gavin suggested a different doctor. As mentioned, those two have been very possessive and caring that Declan feels left out.

"Yes, hopefully, this new doctor also gives me an all clear that my baby is fine," I say as I sit on the sofa near the fireplace.

"Do you mind?" Blaise asks as he kneels in front of me with his hands near my stomach. It's nothing new. Blaise decided that he wanted to witness the first kick. Every day that passes is a day that Blaise desperately wants to feel a kick. Truth be told is that even I haven't felt my baby kick yet.

"You seriously need to stop asking me that," I say and reach for his hands to place over my baby bump.

Just as Blaise places his hands on my bump, Gavin and Declan walk in. Their eyes instantly going wide as saucers as they watch Blaise being gentle. Declan nor Gavin have witnessed this side of Blaise besides me.

"Get over here," Blaise speaks up lightly as he motions for the two statues to kneel in front of me.

Instantly Gavin and Declan budge and make their way over. Hesitantly they place their hands on my stomach as they rub soothingly.

"Come on now, baby, it's been too long now. Stop hiding," Blaise speaks in the most cunning voice I've ever heard.

There we were waiting like idiots for the baby to kick, but no movement. Surely it was worrying the hell out of me, but Jess mentioned it was normal, that baby would make movement visible to us when he or she felt ready.

The four of us were bummed out but carried out with daily routines of keeping close tabs on Shane in case he left his hideout. Malakai, on the other hand, was getting suspicious of Blaise's whereabouts, and that did not help any of us.
