**** A/N: There are officially FOUR parts left to this chaotic ride! Unless I decide to make slight changes. But I never thought I'd finish this story. I honestly thought I'd take it down entirely since none of my works are out of this world. Seriously though, I just have bad writer's block when it comes to non-supernatural stories. Anyhow, enjoy this intense chapter.
Also, there's a slight surprise ahead. ****
• Chapter Thirty-Nine •
Raven's Point of View
Stupid, weak body. I groaned as I tried opening my eyes but failed due to the darn light being too bright. I attempted to lift my hand, but again, I could not do such a thing as my gaze went to my hands. I was tied.
Of course, those stupid goons would tie me up. I thought to myself as I looked around until my eyes landed on Gavin.
"Gavin!" I yelled out as I tugged on my tied wrists. I will punch someone in the face once I'm out of these. "Come on. Gavin, wake the hell up!" I cried out, slightly annoyed.
I kept moving around until I heard Gavin groan. "Raven, stop that. You'll hurt the babies," He said as I stopped moving around.
"Do you recognize this place? Anything?" I ask as I look around, but everything was dark. Pure emptiness and the light was the only thing on top of us.
"No, I don't think this was ever in any file on Shane. It's probably a new warehouse he obtained while keeping a low profile." Gavin stated as he began to wrestle his way out the chair, he was tied too.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you, Gavin," I heard a deep English accent state. My gaze followed the voice until they landed on Shane.
Blaise had shown Alessandra and I pictures of his brother to memorize who was our enemy. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Raven," Shane says as I snarled at him, clenching my fists in anger.
"When I get out of these, I will show you hell!" I yelled as Gavin kept trying to pry off being tied. Shane simply laughed as he neared both Gavin and me.
"I doubt that I'm sure you wouldn't want those unborn babies to be harmed," Shane said with a slight smirk on his face.
"You lay a finger on her, and I swear I will kill you myself, you bastard!" Gavin roared out as Shane sent a painful punch to his stomach.
I winced as Gavin groaned out in pain. Punch after punch Gavin remained tough, Shane's next move was my final straw.
As if in slow motion, Shane brought out a knife and forcibly plunged it into Gavin's abdomen. I let out a horrifying cry as I saw the blood ooze out like a river.
"Stop it, please! I'll do anything just stop the bleeding," I say with a whimper as Shane laughed. I noticed his hand go up in a swift motion. Immediately two bulky men appeared out of nowhere and dragged Gavin out.
"I'd save those crocodile tears, Raven. I will only repeat this torture until lover boy comes," Shane said as he aggressively took hold of my chin.
I forgot how to breathe as his other free hand came up. The knife still in his hand, and my eyes went wide in fear. "Please don't," I beg as I tried to wriggle myself from his hold.
His hold on my chin only worsened as his other hand neared my stomach. Please don't. Not my babies. A single tear fell down my cheek as a sob escaped my lips. The hand with the knife came up to my neck for mere seconds. I gulped, looking at him dead in the eyes. Please don't. The blade was pressed to my cheek as he slid it vertically down from under my eye to my chin.
