Raven's Point of View

I am still at a loss for words. I couldn't process the fact that Malakai's lips were on mine. I'm pretty sure I heard a lot of gasps from the others. I am completely frozen in place. I didn't know whether if to respond to the kiss or push him away.

I felt the tingling sensations running throughout my entire body. My mind was all over the place, yet I still wasn't responding.

Do something, you dimwit! My brain yelled at me.

So many things were coursing through my mind. After so long of debating myself, I finally responded to the kiss. I responded with much more lust than anticipated. I felt fireworks going off inside my entire body as I kissed him back.

Cliché much? The little voice mocked me.

My hands automatically going to his neck, I felt Kai tug on my bottom lip. I felt the kiss getting more intense when I suddenly remembered we were being watched. I pulled away, and the only thing I could do was hide my face on Kai's chest.

I heard him chuckle as I knew my cheeks were probably red like a tomato. But as cliché as that was, I didn't regret it.

"Well, that was...that was quite a show." I heard Ian mumble. "What took so long, brother?" Alessandra stated in amusement.

"I don't know." Kai simply stated. I still felt hot, and I am sure Everette didn't like this, not one bit.

"I was starting to wonder when you would grow a pair," Gavin informed Kai with a smirk, which also earned Gavin a smack on the head. They laughed it off as Everette got dangerously close to Kai.

"You just kissed my cousin, and if you so dare hurt her. I will end your life." Everette threatened Kai as he kept his cool.

"That's all?" I found myself asking him in disbelief.

I thought he would rant about how Malakai can't be with me. Or worse, I thought he would end up picking a fight with him.

"Well, I saw this coming one way or another. All I hope is that he will treat you with respect but, no kissing if he doesn't make it official." Everette warned him with a serious expression.

"Well, obviously, I was going to ask that, but as you can see, I couldn't take it any longer." Kai nervously stated.

"If you hurt my lovely kiddo, I will personally show you hell. Understood?" Dawson informed Kai, trying to intimidate him.

He still hadn't even asked me out, and everyone was already trying to kill him. That's supposed to be my job.

"Technically, I will raise havoc on him first. After all, I am her twin, you've been warned." Declan interrupted as he pointed a finger as a warning to Kai.

"Alright, can you all just be quiet for a moment. As for you-" I stopped as I pointed towards Kai. "You have some explaining to do."

I grabbed him by his shirt and pulled him far away from the craziness.

"Please enlighten me as to what just happened back there," I stated as I used my hands to explain myself.

I seem to be doing that a lot lately. I told myself as I tried to figure out what to say.

"Don't you get it? Raven, I've always liked you, you're constantly in my mind. You've been driving me insane ever since I met you." Kai spoke up.

"Why now? What took you so long?" I asked, and for some reason, I was getting a bit irritated. I don't know why, but I am sure that I will get a hold of my feelings. I mean, I've known him my entire life. Okay, most of my life.
