Raven's Point of View

It's been a week since that night I've made sure to wear sweaters or long sleeve shirts. I usually leave the house first thing in the morning. I sit away from my cousins and my twin, including Andrea. I leave school and come straight home and into my room.

So that's pretty much what I've been doing for the past week, avoiding them. But today just wasn't my day at all. I had forgotten to lock my door before falling asleep.

"Come on, Raven," Cora stated.

So as you can probably guess, our friends arrived today, and they're waiting for us at Andrea's house. I haven't seen them since last school year. I just don't seem to have enough energy even to get up.

"Declan, come help me. She doesn't want to get out of bed!" Cora shouted.

I groaned even louder when Cora opened up the curtains, and Declan pulled off my blankets.

"Raven, get up now," Declan demanded. Since I didn't get up, I noticed Declan and Cora share a look.

"Everette!" Cora shouted.

I then heard Everette's footsteps come up the stairs. Next thing you know, I am soaking wet. I scowled at the three as if my eyes were out of bullets.

"What the hell!" I yelled.

"We warned you," Declan stated.

Cora and Everette laughed at how ridiculous I looked. "Fine, I'll get dressed now, get out of my room!" I demanded.

I can't believe they would do such a thing to me. I'll get my revenge on those knuckleheads.

I started looking through my drawers for some clean, dry clothes. I decided to wear black jeans with my ACDC tank top and put my black combat boots. I quickly dried my hair before putting on my leather jacket and applying a bit of makeup.

I'm a bit of a Tomboy type with a hint of rocker in me and a tad bit of a girly girl, a mixture of lots of styles.

Once I finished, I quickly went downstairs. Jessica and Michael had left again on a business trip, so it was just us four in the house.

"So, are we going or not?" I asked as I stood in front of the living room door. Their heads snapped towards my direction to which Everette simply nodded before grabbing his keys.

"Why don't you two go ahead? I have to talk with Raven," Declan suggested. Once they left, Declan turned my way with a weird look on his face.

"What?" I asked, annoyed. "Want to explain why you've been avoiding us?" He asked, looking straight in my eyes with a blank expression.

"Just needed space." I lied, giving him my best smile.

Declan looked at me for a while, but eventually, he nodded and headed out. I was so thankful that he didn't bother with the subject any further.

The car ride was silent but not that awkward. Jasper kept looking at me while Cora tried making a conversation with me, but I never once replied to her. I even fell asleep for a while, but Cora nudged me. I felt sort of light-headed when Everette suddenly spoke up.

"Come on now. We're already late as it is," Everette stated.

If it weren't for Declan, who had a hold on me, I would have probably fallen. I was a bit dizzy when I stepped out of the car.

"Whoa, steady Raven," Jasper spoke up, looking worried. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, it's nothing, I just stood up too fast," I said. Once I gained my balance, I held onto Declan's arm and started walking towards Andrea's front door.
