External Point of View
To say that Blaise was furious was a complete understatement. Why? Well, it has been two weeks, and Malakai finally dared to tell him the truth.
Which is that he's head over heels over Raven. Kai also forgot to zip his mouth about the kiss and about being Raven's boyfriend. Now, Blaise was in all his glory.
"I told you to leave her out of your life! You're putting targets on her back!" Blaise yelled in full rage. He had gone utterly ballistic when Kai came clean about it all.
"She's in no harm! You can't tell me what I can and can't do! I am not your little puppet!" Kai screamed in anger.
Blaise could only move his head side to side as he let out a chuckle. He was thinking of the danger that Raven could be in by now. Blaise cared about Raven not because she was Declan's twin but because she reminded him of his little sister.
Blaise wasn't just angry that Kai disobeyed him once again. No, he was furious that Kai was reckless and didn't care who he'd take down with him. He knew very well that it wasn't a game.
Blaise finally looked at Kai once he calmed down. "If something happens to that girl, which might I add, could be possible." It was unbelievable that someone like Kai could mess up. "Don't say I didn't warn you," Blaise said as he looked at Kai dead in the eyes.
Blaise knew he should've said something more than just that. Although, he knew that it would be a waste of time and breath of his own.
"You just can't follow simple rules, can't you?" Blaise said once again as he shook his head.
"If anyone hurts her, I will personally raise havoc on them. I want everyone away from her, Gavin and I can take care of it." Kai spoke up after calming himself down.
"And who will take care of you two?" Blaise asked in disbelief. "We'll be fine. Gavin isn't the type of person to mess around with." They were both calm by now, only staring at each other.
"If anything happens, you will call me understood?" Blaise asked as he looked Kai dead in the eye.
"Yes, I know the rules," Kai spoke up in a child-like voice. As they both discussed the many options and possibilities, Clayton walked in with a look of despair.
Kai didn't notice his presence until Blaise looked up. He saw the look of distress on Clayton, and they both gave him a worried look.
"What's wrong, Clay?" Blaise asked since he couldn't muster up any word. Clayton had many fresh wounds on his face. He was in complete disaster. After regaining his composure, he spoke, "Your brother killed CJ."
It made Blaise's blood run cold, and it made Kai's eyes go wide. They both paled as Clayton's words registered in their heads.
"He killed my only family left!" Blaise had an unreadable expression as he saw how broken Clay was. He knew how much CJ meant to Clayton. He was the one that took care of them as he did with Kai. "We'll get him, CJ will have justice," Kai spoke up as he got up and held his crying friend in his arms.
For someone as Clayton to crumble down was a shocker. Blaise knew he had to take matter into his own hands before anyone else he cared about got hurt.

With Blaise and Kai in charge of the funeral, Gavin had to cover for him. Clayton asked them to arrange it as quickly as possible. The poor lad couldn't do it himself; he was too broken even to tell the rest of the guys. But Clayton had the toughest job yet, which is to inform CJ's only living relative, his little sister.
