**** A/N: It's the end of this ride. I hope it didn't feel as rushed as it seemed to me. Enjoy the chapter. I promise the Epilogue will be all cliche and sappy. 🙃 ****

Malakai's Point of View

"Head home Serpents, I can take it from here," A tall, broad guy with dark brown hair and hazel green eyes spoke out once Alexia explained the ordeal that went down.

"Holland, I cannot thank you enough for this," Alexia quickly states as the guy Holland rolls his eyes.

"Alexia, get your crew out now. I need to make this look legit," Holland spoke out, making the gang leave immediately.

Raven, on the other hand, was in complete utter shock. Her gaze was present, but her mind was elsewhere. She held onto her stomach as she silently cried, not tearing her eyes from Shane's body.

"Raven, I need you to repeat after me, okay?" Holland said in a much softer tone taking hold of her hands.

Raven was innocent. She hadn't faced the demons we all had. Alessandra was in utter silence as she finally registered that Raven killed Shane.

"Shane knocked out Jasper, and Matt, you acted upon instinct and took hold of the gun. You feared not only for your life but of your unborn children as well. Blaise and Malakai were nowhere on sight. They were busy trying to get away from Shane's men on the top level of the building. Shane gave you no other option other than to shoot. The only people in the building were yourself, your twin, Blaise, Malakai, Gavin, your cousins, and Leah. Remember, the girls and Everette were held as leverage to lure you guys out here. You all acted upon instinct and failed to notify the police." Holland started. It didn't matter whether it made sense to the law. The police would be pleased he's out of their way.

Shane was a real threat to everyone. The police would probably dismiss this and just be glad he's gone for good.

"Shane left me no choice other than to shoot him after he knocked out Jasper. I was terrified beyond words and acted upon it. Malakai, Blaise, and Gavin were too busy trying to get the girls and Everette." Raven stated as his eyes shifted from Shane's body to Holland.

"Does that sound better?" She questioned as Holland nodded.

You'd think she'd be freaked, but although her voice sounded confident and without remorse. Her eyes said a whole different thing. Raven was beyond freaked, she had gone pale, and her eyes held pure darkness. There wasn't a hint of joy in them; nothing about her eyes spoke of innocence. All of that was gone; she was utterly broken beyond repair.

"Way better than all the crap I said," Holland said as he motioned for his crew to set up the basement.

"Everything must be wiped clean, leave no evidence other than the bullets here. Leave a couple of guns out as well as bodies. Make sure to wipe off the Serpent King's bullets, anything connecting them to the scene once you've done, then let me know. I will arrange everything to look the way Raven said." Holland spoke up as the crew began to work.

"How will this work exactly?" Raven asked faintly.

"Well, first of all, everyone present will say the same thing as you. We'll polish up your story to give it credibility. Once that's done, we'll let the others know, so when they get questioned, it lines up together," Holland responded as he allowed Raven to register the information before continuing.
