Raven's Point of View
"Raven, wake up." Cora said as I mumbled a 'no' through the pillow.
"It's your birthday!" She yelled as I threw her my other pillow.
"I don't care get out," I said and pulled the bedsheets over my head.
Declan and I had drunken ourselves to sleep last night. "Make the noise go away," Declan muttered under the pillow. Right he also fell asleep in my bed too.
"We are trying to sleep, come back another time!" I said, lifting my head from my pillow and under the sheets.
It wasn't the hangover that was killing me, it was more of it's Friday type of thing, and I don't feel like going to school mood.
"I suggest you two get up now, or I'll make you." Aunt Jessica yelled.
Declan let out an annoyed groan, and next thing you know, I fell from my bed. "Did you just kick me?" I stated as I saw Declan still on my bed.
"Sorry, didn't mean to," Declan said, lifting his head from my pillow with a cheeky smile on his face. I got up irritated from the floor and started looking for a clean outfit to wear. My room was a complete wreck. It's not as clean as to how stereotypes say females are.
"Go get changed. We have school." I said, annoyed, giving up without a tantrum.
One, I was just too old for that and two, my aunt is going to kill us. Why? Well, I wreak of alcohol, which by the way, I hate, but last night I didn't.
"Fine," Declan mumbled as he got up from the bed. As he left my room, I grabbed his shoes and threw them at him.
"Ow!" He cried as I slammed my door shut.
I quickly shoved every object and clothes into my closet as I pulled out an oversized black pullover. Quickly fixing my untamable hair and a proper hygiene routine to make myself look presentable.
"Guys, we're running late," Cora shouted as I quickly got into a pair of plain black ripped jeans and a white shirt.
"We're coming!" I shouted as I tried to put on my combat boots. Keyword folks; tried.
I grabbed my bag that had my other thin black pullover and hurriedly left closing my door, but as I did, I bumped into Declan.
"Could you not be so clumsy?" Declan asked in a teasingly manner.
"Sorry, I was trying to put these on-" I motioned to my combat boots in my hand and continued. "and walk downstairs at the same time."
He sighed and pulled my left leg up, and took my boots. He put them on for me and, lastly, smacked me on the head.
"Ow, What was that for?" I said, rubbing the back of my head. "We're even now." He said, putting on his grey sweater.
We continued to argue as we walked downstairs only to find everyone so calmly eating.
"Told you it would work," Jessica said as she motioned towards my cousins and Michael to pay up.
"I thought we were running late," I said, confused as Everette shrugged it off.
"We were only messing with you," Cora stated as she threw me some Oreos and a Twinkie.
I handed the Twinkie to Declan and sat down on the chair next to Cora. "We have like an hour left before school even starts." She added as I groaned and banged my head on the table.
