**** A/N: I will start the chapter by an external view to give insight on Shane. Initially, the external part was going to be like a bonus chapter, but instead, I decided to merge it with this chapter. So here goes another update. ****

External Point of View

"I want them to suffer," Shane stated as he watched the group of teenagers from afar.

"How do you plan on doing that, boss?" Shane simply smirked as he saw how close Gavin had gotten with a beautiful blue-eyed girl.

"Simple, we hurt what they most love," Shane states as he looks back to Declan and his twin sister Raven. "We'll start with my brother Blaise, gather his little brothers. Clayton, Malakai, Gavin, and Declan are Blaise's weakness. We'll then take Andrea, Raven, Trish, Casey and Cora." He continued as they drove away before they got spotted.

The day after Declan and Raven left to Blaise's hideout house, Gavin was attacked. He'd been blindfolded as Shane's guys took him to a warehouse away from town.

"What the hell do you want, Shane?" Gavin spat out as his face was filled with multiple fresh wounds.

"You play a huge part in taking down my brother before I cause Raven the same tragedy as your parents," Shane states, making Gavin go tense.

"What the hell do my parents have to do with Raven?" Gavin asked incredulously. Shane smirks, knowing he's hit the spot as he so casually decides to sit down on an empty chair next to him.

"Don't you remember, the car, the bullets? The cover-up?" Shane pushed further as if trying to indicate something to Gavin. "I do hope you didn't eat Blaise's crap of a story." He laughed at the look of confusion coursing through Gavin's expression.

"Blaise? What are you on about?" Gavin points out, trying to keep his anger in control. "My parents were killed by your brother to keep me doing his dirty business." He states as Shane bursts out laughing, leaving Gavin to see him as a lunatic.

"God, you are so stupid." Shane starts as he pulls out an orange envelope from inside his coat. "Blaise isn't much of a man to kill innocent folks like your parents." There was a pause as he threw the envelope to Gavin. "I ordered the hit. It was I who killed your parents." Shane states, making Gavin's eyes darken in full rage.

Gavin looked through the images inside the envelope, his eyes threatening to burst from tears he held within. The faces of his dead parents looking straight at him, the explicit scenes he had repressed for so long, were now vividly staring at him.

"You are lying!" Gavin yelled as he flipped through the images. "Am I?" Shane asked laughingly. "You do realize I can end Raven's life right here, right now, at this very moment." He spat as he knew that he'd gotten exactly what he wanted.

"Don't you dare, Shane," Gavin stated as he dropped the images. "Try me." Gavin was ready to charge, but his pain was more significant than the urge to take revenge.

Shane knew he hit a nerve, he got out of his seat, but before he left, he turned to Gavin. "Killing them was for mere fun; their pleads were satisfying and music to my ears." He walked off, knowing very well that destroying Blaise would be as easy as killing innocent people.
