{ A Month Later... }
Malakai's Point of View
As time went by, Raven and the others, seem to have found inner strength within one another. They are slowly turning to their old selves. Although it's been a tough task for them, they keep trying their very best. As for me, well, I can't seem to get my feelings in check. Blaise has been on my ass since I left for the trip to Hawaii.
"CJ, how much longer do we have to wait for this guy to show up?" I asked.
We've been waiting for the other guy to show up. It's been almost two hours since we got here. Every exchange has to be done on the low. At least that's what Blaise told us.
"If I knew the answer to that, then we wouldn't be here," CJ said, irritated at our situation.
One of many reasons as to why I hate dealing with the exchanges. The only thing that's keeping me here is my mother and sister. Not to mention Gavin and Raven. I know that for sure that Blaise would try and hurt them in any way possible.
"Get the money. He's here." CJ stated as I turned off my phone and slipped it into my pocket. Without wasting time, I quickly stepped out of the car and went over to the trunk to get the money.
"What took so long? The exchange was to be done half an hour ago." CJ stated through gritted teeth.
"My boss had a small delay with the merchandise. Do you have the money or not?" He snapped back.
"Here's the money, now show me the merchandise," I said as I forcibly threw him the cash. By the looks of it, he was new, fresh meat in the work line. He most likely hasn't even hit puberty.
"Here it is, every last ounce is in there." He said.
"What's your name?" CJ asked.
"I'm Scott, now get out of my way." Scott snapped.
"You know for a rookie you've got one nasty attitude. You should watch that mouth of yours; people get killed nowadays." I said with a shrug.
Scott scoffed as he roughly threw the cash in the backseat of his car and left.

"What in the bloody hell took you so long?" Blaise asked. He was angry. CJ handed him the bag as I sat on the chair in front of Blaise.
"It was a rookie that had to deal with the exchange. We waited for two hours for that piece of garbage." CJ informed him.
"Is it all there?" Blaise asked as he handed the bag to Clayton.
"It's all here, boss, should I put it along with everything else?" Clayton asked. Blaise only nodded and told them to leave.
"What were you thinking?" Blaise yelled once they were gone. "What do you mean? I haven't done anything wrong." I stated, trying to keep my composure.
"You took all of your friends to Hawaii. Are you trying to kill them?" Blaise snapped back.
"As if you cared about my friend's well being." I scoffed at him. "I might be a cold-hearted asshole, but you Malakai are like a brother to me," Blaise stated, making me roll my eyes.
"You could care less about me. Don't try and fool me now." I stated.
"If I didn't mean it, why would I have cared about you? Why would I have been there for you when your father died?" Blaise asked.
