Raven's Point of View
Although last night didn't end so well, that didn't mean it ruined our short vacation. As promised, today was pretty fun and full of happy memories so far.
"You know you could've completely taken him down right." Gavin stated in a 'duh' tone. The guys wanted to play some baseball, so we were split into two teams.
Of course, I was in the winning team, along with Declan, Gavin, Cora, Malakai, and Casey, while the losing side was Everette, Leah, Andrea, Jake, and Trish. Jake had nothing to do, so he came over and ended up tagging along with us.
"It's not fair they had the twins, not to mention Malakai and Gavin!" Everette exclaimed like a two-year-old.
"Y'all just mad 'cause we won," I stated with a smile and sticking out my tongue childishly.
"You and Cora love baseball, not to mention you love playing it too," Andrea whined.
"Stop being such a big baby. It's just a game." Malakai spoke up.
It was a fair game. We won fair and square. Of course, Cora and I love the game. We used to play it when we were little girls. It's such a fun sport besides football, of course.
"We shall have a rematch," Jake said with his arms crossed.
"We shall see indeed. Now let's go for a swim." Gavin stated in a bored tone.
"Don't forget we were invited to a party at Miles," I spoke up.
While we were playing baseball, Miles stopped by the beach house to invite us. Miles, according to Gavin, is an old friend of theirs. Miles is, of course, Hawaiian. They met not too long ago. At least that's what these morons told me.
"That's like two hours away, plus it's a party. We don't have to be on time." Everette stated in a 'duh' tone.
Well bloody hell, fine, I guess we'll go for that darn swim.
"Get me a good board!" I exclaimed as I ran upstairs.
External Point of View
"Oh come on now, Jessica, we should go out tonight. The kids are fine, alright. It's about time we have some alone time." Michael told his wife.
Ever since they said goodbye to their children and the twins, Jessica has had a bad feeling in her gut, just like Raven.
"I don't know, Michael. I have a bad feeling. I am never like this, so it must mean something." Jessica stated worriedly.
"Honey, you need to relax. Nothing bad is going to happen. Look if it makes you feel any better, let's call the kids." Michael suggested.
Jessica only nodded as she watched her husband get his phone. Michael dialed Everette's number and waited until someone picked it up.
After four tries, Everette finally answered.
"Hey, Dad, what's up?" Everette asked.
"Just calling to make sure you guys are fine, that's all. You know how your mother gets worried." Michael explained to Jay.
"Yeah, I know, but don't worry, we're all fine. We were about to hit the waves. You can tell mom we're fine." Everette informed his father.
