The Right Present (Part I)

From that day onward, Lukas was greeted in the morning by an overjoyed Jesse, whom she would hug and kiss him so hard, he would make a slight groove on the wall he was forced against. Lukas grew to adapt to this affectionate explosion, seeing it as an overt expression of great love. The snows did return but they were generous, given that they were falling at a steady rate, enough to literally transform the town into Arendelle without the dangers of an eternal winter or a Type V snowstorm threatening their existence.

Jesse made a full recovery and once again, would be seen happily strolling with his arm linked with Petra's like a chain link. "Such a beautiful day. I'm sure the children are loving it!" He was highly-spirited, for it was once gain his favourite time of year once again. Christmas! Petra was about as happy as Jesse was, but calling his little sister a happy-go-lucky lovey-dovey lover would be a blatant understatement.

No-one looked forward to Christmas nearly as much as Jesse. She would always be skipping around the town wearing her fluffy Santa hat or an adorable reindeer antler headband. She was so filled with the spirit, that she had always appear blushed and warm to the touch. But Lukas was always happiest to see his lovely little heart-hugger, who again, would be greeted by hugs and the occasional snog on the couch. He loved her so much, he was unable to express it with words or actions or even both. "My God. We're totally made for each other!"

Lukas often daydreamed about her, and often when walking with Jesse, would often discomfort him with compliments about Jesse which he didn't want to know.

Her lips are so warm, my heart burns at their touch.
It hurts my back every time she presses me against the wall to kiss me! But I know the pain comes from the arrows of love which strike me every time I look into those deep green eyes.
Her hugs are so tight, it feels like I'm being constricted by love angels.
Her love for me is what keeps me warm in bed, even during the harshest winters.

"Lukas. Will. You. Please. Stop. Talking?!" Jesse would also snap if he feels that Lukas was talking too much. 'Is this seriously the appropriate location to discuss how your girlfriend snogs, hugs, and warms you in bed?' Lukas stopped when he noticed that they were on an escalator in the city mall. "Oh. Right. Sorry... her lips are as soft as velvet."

Twas the night before Christmas Eve, and here in the city mall, we join our friends Jesse and Lukas on their quest to find... The Right Present!

"Lukas. Please try to set your mind to where it's supposed to be aimed, and help me search for the right gifts to get our girlfriends, OK?" Jesse tried to get Lukas' state of mind set for I search for the greatest present ever mode. "Yeah. Ok. So what d'you suppose they'd get for us?" Jesse chuckled, "She'll probably give you The Gift of LOVE. I can see it now..." before getting shouldered by Lukas. "Hey! Young people are watching us. Stop going there!" Jesse had his laugh before saying "Yeah, sorry about that."

After entering numerous department shops (and getting sprayed by perfume samplers thousands of times), they were out of hope. "Grah! Why'd it have to be Black Friday today where all the best stuff gets stripped from the shelves by sporadic spenders?" Jesse resented Black Friday. He would always be beat to the newest games console or be trampled on the way to the sports shop. Lukas on the other hand, didn't care much for such a ravenous event. "Don't worry. Like you said, we'd follow our hearts so we'd be led to the right present. Hehe..." Jesse scowled with contempt, but later started laughing. "Yeah right. Next thing you know, we'd be giving them-" Lukas slapped him. "Jesse! What'd I tell you?" He pointed at you, before Jesse replied "Sorry, my friend(s). Nearly forgot you were there."

Jesse and Lukas wandered down the violently-pink maze which was the all-girly area. Lukas seemed flushed all the way, and Jesse took every chance to make comedy of the improper type. In fact, Lukas had to slap him so many times, he had appeared red too without the feeling of embarrassment. They had wanted to stay hidden from their girlfriends to keep their surprise, a surprise. But suddenly.

"Jesse. It's them! Quickly, hide!" Lukas panicked in haste, even shoving Jesse into the nearest store. They watched them walk across the hallway, looking beautiful as always. When they disappeared down the hall, they took the chance to nip away. Lukas took the opportunity to laugh at Jesse. "What the hell. Lukas I can't see anything!" When Jesse thought he had gone blind, Lukas was the one to remark that he had mistaken a bra for a new pair of glasses. When Lukas slipped the bra off his face, he said "C'mon, joker boy!"

When they expended nearly all of their energy, they stumbled into the one shop. Lukas immediately turned optimistic and shook up a weakening Jesse. "We found it, Jesse. We did it!"
