Although Lukas had grown adapted to Jesse's hugs and kisses ("so I could tell you everyday how much I love you"), he had also grown fairly tired of it. He felt relieved and also saddened slightly, knowing that his sweetheart isn't always within his proximity, when he returned to his cabin. The wood had appeared moist and grotesque, the heavy snows have caused the logs to swell up and rot. "P.U.! It even smells like it too!"

Without wasting time, he got to work. Using some spare poles used for structure reinforcement, he removed and discarded the rotting wood. He then grabbed his axe and started to collect wood to start rebuilding his cabin. When he finished, the cabin looked not only cleaner, but also bigger. The task took him up to January to finish, but he was proud that he took the time to complete such a long task. "Phew! Bigger IS better!"

Lukas entered his newly-rebuilt cabin, crashed on his couch, and took a long nap, his dreams were of the romantic side of his life:

Him standing up to Aiden and saving Jesse (F) at daycare.
Them sharing their first passionate kiss.
Him flushing red when Jesse walks past and when she winks/waves/blows a kiss at him.
The love felt on the hill.
Saving Jesse and Petra from certain death.
The romance on Christmas Day.

The thoughts of these memories filled him with such joy, he could've sworn he spoke in his sleep:

Her lips are so warm and velvety.
I love how she pins me against the wall, knowing that the slight ache was a love angel shooting me with an arrow.
She's so dashing, she means the Universe to me.
I would love to see her in a long white dress approaching me donning the perfect suit.

He felt that ever since Jesse entered his life, he had begun to emerge from his shell. Her loving touch and selfless personality are what moved him most. He felt like a changed man, he changed just for her. Lukas couldn't imagine life without her, or without love at all. Without her, he would feel... incomplete, empty, unloved. "What I love about her most are her hugs, her kisses, her warmth, her touch, her imperfections, her selflessness, and her quirks. She's perfect."
