Chapter IV

Still laughing and still loving, Jesse had grown adapted to this new level of intimacy, which he called lip-painting. And let's face it, I am NOT gonna bore nor disturb you with the details, read the other chapters! He was still moderately annoyed by this, but he knew Petra was just being silly, and often to doddle with his feelings. "Please. Stop… It's disgusting, although it is kinda- Oh sorry, didn't notice you were there!"

It was during a warm May afternoon, a regular day at the town, which by the way had been fully reconstructed. The Emerald Forest shimmered like a jewel on the land, and Jesse was strolling towards the forest clearing by himself. Petra was busy out of town (She should hopefully keep my kissable face in her head, no matter what she's doing now…) The opening was clear and vacant, not one person was present. He took in a deep whiff of air and sat on the still-fallen tree trunk.

He had just his conscience as company, though he mostly kept to himself. He just sat there, simple and calm. Man it's calm out here. And I don't often say this (for obvious reasons) but I'm kinda relieved Petra's out for some time. At least I can survive just one day without my face used as a canvas painted by… those velvety lips… His thoughts flew through his brain, 98% being Petra. He peered into the distance, nothing but shrouds of forest beyond him.

Moments later, he heard a warming voice, Jesse turned to notice it was his sister, and she was gleaming. "Hey! How's it going?" she said to him. Jesse hugged her tight before saying "I'm good. Gotta say your company brightens my day." Jesse smiled at him, he noticed the sweetness in her, and grinned back with slight embarrassment. "Soooo, you gonna smile at me all day or you gonna-"

"Oh yeah. That's right, I gotta ask you something. Something I would confide with my dear brother…" Jesse knew this was important, since sibling secrets were normally shockingly or plain weird. "Ok then. Sit down," he said, beckoning towards the trunk. She then began.

"Yesterday, I heard you talking to Lukas in the alley. About me in the future…" Jesse knew what she meant, and rather than trying to riddle himself out, he continued with "What? What did you hear? Were you not familiar that it was supposed to be a PRIVATE chat?" he ended up snarling. "I'm sorry but anything involving Lukas must involve me, so I thought I'd… er… um… pass by and receive a glimpse."

"Er, so what I did hear was 'D'you think you'd take it up a notch? Bring your relationships with Jesse to the next level (marriage and family)?' followed by 'Yeah but, what if I'm just not ready for that kind of intimacy. It's a huge step and I don't wanna screw up…'" Jesse continued, she shocked him somehow. "I think she's onto us… Er yeah! Just stuff about you two, y'know, getting hitched and having little cuties of yourself! Just thought you'd be the perfect soulmate for him. I mean, you do love his introversion and coyness as well as his succumbing behaviour and his looks. And so if you love him so much, perhaps you two ought to get hitched!"

Jesse frowned at him, but immediately turned to a pleasant grin. "Yeah. I guess you gotta point. Unless he's getting all googly-eyed with someone else as of right now… I'd turn Yandere if that happens. I'll never stop killing until I get my Senpai" Jesse smirked at her, he then sneered "Naw, is someone jealous that there's other girls in his life? You're getting tangled so badly, screw love triangles, you're in a love labyrinth!" She did not appreciate this, but he reassured her with "C'mon. I'm sure you're just imagining things. Lukas isn't the type of guy who would have the guts to dump a bombshell like you! And don't tell him I said this but, he thinks no other girl is ever gonna be just as perfect as you…"

Jesse was confident of this. "Hmm, yeah maybe that is true. It'll be all normal, his heart belongs to moi, I shouldn't be worried at all! Thanks brother, really appreciated that." She got up, kissed him briefly, and returned down the path back to the city. That girl is amazing… Jesse thought in his mind, he thinks his sister was the main reason why he is ever so jovial nowadays, otherwise life wouldn't be so enlightening.

Thank You. For bringing me the (second) greatest gift of all time, the blossoming tulip that is my sister...
