Chapter 54

I've updated twice today so don't accidentally miss 53 or you won't know what the first part of this chapter is about as it leads on from the previous one:')

Beau's P.O.V

Charlie slowly sat back and a nurse followed in behind Jai.

"Sorry to interrupt, you're welcome to stay but she needs to sleep."

"Ok that's fine" I smiled back

I turned back and Charlie was fast asleep. I smiled at her and Jai sat on the other side.

The nurse looked at us like she was trying to attract our attention.

"Uh yeah?"

"Has she said anything weird?"

"No?"

"Oh well saying that she can't really talk much because she had breathing problems so she's had an oxygen mask on a lot and a tube through her neck"

"Oh dear, bless her. Why would she say something weird?"

"We've had to give her a lot of morphine and other drugs to take the pain away so she's not really herself. It should have worn off after this nap though"

"Alright cheers"

Charlie's P.O.V

I woke up and checked the time, I've been sleeping for hours. I feel less weird now but I can't remember what happened.

I heard someone sigh by the side of me. It was Beau. I felt myself getting extremely annoyed. He looked up and smiled.

"Why the hell are you here!?" I snapped

"You were happy to see me a few hours ago"

"Yeah when they'd just taken me off morphine and things"

"Oh yeah"

"Get out!"

"No"

"I SAID GET OUT"

There was a slight bang behind me. I turned around to see Jai, I must've startled him. 

"Hi Jai"

"Charlie!" he smiled

"Get your brother out now!"

"Beau come on!"

Jai tried to drag him but Beau kept pulling away. Why didn't he understand I didn't want to see him.

"Let me stay please Charl!"

"You must be joking"

I grabbed the tray off the table which had my dinner on it and threw it at him. He moved to the side and it hit  the wall. The room went silent.

"Next time, I won't miss."

"Charl, babe! Please please please forgive me!"

"You want me to be happy right?"

"Of course"

"Well then leave. Focus on your career and be happy"

"But where will you go? I can't leave you"

"I don't know. That's for me to worry about"

Jai got Beau out of the door and I could hear them talking. The door re opened and Jai came back in.

"Don't worry he's waiting outside"

"Ok, what do you want?"

"I'm not saying you have to forgive him straight away or anything but just think about it and eventually talk. Don't leave it like this"

"Can I get better first?"

"Of course. Can I ask you something?"

"Sure, sit"

"Thanks, I'm worried. I think Sarah might fall for her ex again"

"Wow I've missed so much! What ex?"

"Danny. They used to go out until they both had to move to different places. They had a catch up and ever since she goes to visit him almost everyday and all she talks about is him"

"Aw no Jai! Give me a cuddle. I'll be honest, I don't know whether anything will happen between them or not but what I do know is, that if you want to keep her you have to prove to that Danny that you're better than him!"

"Thanks Charl. I'll do that!"

"Hang on Jai, what's his last name?"

"Blake. Danny Blake, why?"

"Oh shit. He's moving over here to LA. I have him on facebook somehow"

"You are joking me. Well I'll have to fight very hard then"

"You got it"

"Beau's going to fight for you, you know"

"I hope so. But I can't simply forgive him after this"

"I know. I'll visit you tomorrow yeah?"

"Sure if you want"

"Bye Charl!"

"Bye"

I felt sorry for him. He was such a great guy.  If anything happened I'd happily kick someone's butt. 

I was feeling a lot better now, I walked over to the reception part and signed myself out. The doctor did say I was only in there to rest so now I wanted to leave. Hospitals were so boring.

I had enough money to catch a bus, I'd go back to the house, collect my things and go to my social worker.

The bus went past the boys so hopefully I'd be gone by the time they got home.

I ran in and packed everything. I had quite a lot of cash in my secret stash so I called for a taxi.

The front door opened and Jai and Beau walked in. They looked upset when they saw the suitcases. There was a beep outside which was my taxi.

I grabbed my one suitcase and they got the others for me.

Before getting in the car I turned back to them.

"It's not forever. I'll be back. Just give me time to think."

They both nodded and waved.

I wish I didn't have to keep saying goodbye, but now I had no choice. This time I'm going to think long and hard.

This time my decision will be for me, not anyone else. I'm not as healthy and strong as I used to be so now's the time to think about me and what I need to keep me going.

I already knew the answer but I wasn't going back just yet. When it comes down to it, it's always going to be Beau who keeps me going.

I love him but I can't and won't forgive him yet. I'm still so angry so his apology better be good, for both our sakes.
