Grace lay in bed as wind howled outside the tower. The other girls sleep soundly in their beds while Grace didn't even try and sleep. Her thoughts clouded with her emotions. She wanted Lewis, but she wanted her friends more than anything. It's been like this the past couple weeks. Grace noticed a change in Lewis as well. Always willing to do what Grace wanted, never objected. Aspen said it was because he was up to something. Leslie suggested he was trying to change.

All her emotions clouding up her thoughts for spells. She hasn't opened the journals since the day before Hogsmeade. She was always known for carrying around the journal, but now she hasn't even touched it.

"I know you're still up." Reese said. Grace sat up and turned towards Reese.

"How did you know?"

"The mumbling gave it away." Reese said as she sat up.

"I was mumbling?"

"Yes."

"What about?"

"No idea, hence the word mumbling." Even though it was dark, Grace knew Reese had a teasing smile on her face.

Grace and Reese sat in the dark for a few minutes before Reese spoke.

"Grab your journal and let's go sit in the common room." Reese instructed as she began to get out of bed.

"Why?"

"Just come on." Grace sighed and got up. She grabbed the blue journal and walked to meet Reese in the common room.

"Reese, this is too risky."

"Then let's go somewhere else."

"Where? Reese, we'll get caught if we leave!"

"You do have a spell that could make is invisible, do you not?"

• • •

"Well, Grace. Now that we're invisible I say we pull a prank." Reese whispered as they walked through the corridors.

"I agree with that."

"What should we do?"

"I have an idea. Hold on, I'll just have to go back and grab something!"

• • •

"What are we doing down the in kitchens?" Reese asked.

"All we have to do is convince one of the House Elves to slip this into tomorrow's drinks." Reese watched two glass bottles appeared.

"What are those?"

"You'll have to see in the morning."

"What if we get caught?"

"The spell should wear off soon, so we'll put it back on and we'll have twenty minutes go convince a house elf to do that while we're invisible."

"How about we just leave a note and the bottles saying its mandatory to put the bottles in the drinks."

"We don't have parchment or anything to write with."

"No, you don't have parchment. When I went back up to the room I enchanted my bag and came prepared!"

The kitchen was practically empty considering most house elves were cleaning up around Hogwarts or doing whatever else house elves do at night.

"Here." Grace felt someone grab her arm and Reese led her over to a counter.
