How Cedric Diggory survived the killing curse was a complete mystery to those who didn't know Grace. Only those select few would know how Grace Kellner saved the life of a teenager who faced the impossible.

Considering the boy lived without even a scratch made more people skeptical about Voldemort's return. Even Cedric's story wasn't enough to convince people. There was also people that believed every word that was thrown at them.

Aspen, Grace, Reese, and Ashton traveled back home together.

Aspen Tourney entered her sixth year with a hope she'd finally be with Cedric Diggory. Then she watched him slowly fall in love with Cho Chang. However, she kept her wits about her and moved forward. She expressed her worries of two champions to her friend. That friend managed to save Cedric's life with a spell. Aspen may hate the fact she's not with Cedric, but she's glad he's alive.

Ashton Sherwood entered his sixth year just telling his friends he had no interest in girls. On the train he met Wyatt Jefferson and had slowly been falling for the boy ever since. The Gryffindor who many didn't call brave happened to be the bravest of them all. He was the one everyone came to because they were too scared to greet their worries. He was the one who could make them face their fear head on.

Reese Warren entered her sixth year as stubborn as ever. She still had an attitude and walked the halls with a spring in her step. She never took no for an answer and managed to get what she wanted. While she always joked with everyone she was still there when she watched her best friend get her heart torn from her chest. She loved danger and anything that got her heart racing. She gave that up to comfort her friend when she was falling apart. During the year she managed to get Lee Jordan to fall for her. While she may be a smart alike, she was still the wise one.

Grace Kellner entered her sixth year with a boyfriend and spell books. It was the year she'd realize it's been ten years without her mother. She also realized how quickly someone can go from a lover to a stranger. Yet somehow Grace saw the light in her situation and followed it. Now, she was even happier as she knew she was with a mischievous red head who always had her back. She also saved someone's life. Grace knew her last year would be great, but first she'd have to hit a few bumps in the path.

When Grace saw her father her smile faded instantly. Ben looked exhausted and his eyes were bloodshot. His face was pale while dark lines lay under his eyes. Grace approached her father who forced a smile.

"Hey kiddo."

"What's wrong?" Ben pursed his lips together.

"We'll talk at home. H-how are you? With Lewis and all?"

"That was months ago. I've moved on."

"You have a new boyfriend already? Grace that's not healthy."

"He's not really my boyfriend, and besides I know him really well."

"Who is it?" Grace's eyes drifted over to Fred. Ben followed her gaze.

"Ah, the Weasley boy. Knew it was coming. We have to discuss that."

"No, we won't focus on anything till you tell me what's going on." Grace demanded. Ben looked at the ground.

"Let's go."

When the two arrived home Grace demanded to know what was happening.

"You're persistent, do you know that?" Ben acknowledged. Grace nodded.

"I know." Ben nodded towards the couch.

"Sit." Grace followed his instructions. Ben sat next to Grace.

"Speaking of the Weasley's, Molly has agreed to let you stay with them this summer." Ben began.

"Why?"

"Let me finish. I was going to have you come with me, but Emily doesn't want you to see her. Not in her state. You see Grace, she's not doing well. She's sick and she's not getting better. S-she loves you very, very much, but she doesn't want you to see her like this sweetheart. At least not right now." Grace turned away and sniffled.

"So, what you're saying is Emily is dying. Is that what you're saying?" Grace turned back towards Ben. Her eyes lined with tears.

"Yes, t-that's what I'm saying. I'm so sorry Grace." The yes was all it took for Grace to burst into tears. First Anna and now she was loosing Emily. Ben, who was also crying, wrapped his arms around Grace.

"Grace sweetheart, please don't let this ruin your summer. You deserve so much. I know you had a rough year, but don't let this make it worse. I know it will be awful, but you can get through this. I know you can."

Grace buried her head in her fathers shoulder to muffle her sobs. The necklace she wore all the time seemed to grow heavy around her neck, but all she could right now was cry.

The fact she was happy and had saved someone's life all left. It left with every tear.
