The Ravenclaw walked down the corridor, journal in hand. Her grey eyes reading back and forth as she turned pages. All her concentration on the words and pictures in front of her. She was so concentrated she didn't even notice Professor Snape until she bumped into him.
"Miss Kellner," Snape said coldly, "you must watch where you are going."
"Sorry, sir." Grace stated, her eyes trailing up to meet the mans.
"What is in the journal that makes you so unaware of your surroundings?" Snape plucked the journal right out of Grace's hands. Grace shrieked and grabbed the journal from Snape. She slammed it shut and glared at the man.
"It's none of your business! How dare you! Just because you're a Professor does not give you the right to take my things!" Before the man could say anything else, Grace stomped off down the corridor.
"You seem mad." Someone said, slipping their arm around Grace's shoulder. She caught the faint scent of salt water.
"You smell like the ocean." Grace told him. Lewis chuckled.
"I do live by one."
"But if you shower, how do you still smell like it? You did shower, right?"
"Yes, I showered, and I don't know maybe because the ocean loves me so much." Now it was Grace's turn to laugh.
"No one loves you that much."
"Don't lie to yourself Grace."
"Hm, funny. I'll talk to you later, I have someone to go meet."
"Alright, see ya'." Lewis planted a kiss on Grace's cheek. With a smile she walked off.
"New hairstyle?" Fred asked. Grace tightened her ponytail.
"I guess."
"Hello." Grace turned.
"Will! How was your summer?"
"Good, yours?"
"Decent."
"William was telling us why he had ballet shoes in his trunk." George informed Grace.
"You have ballet shoes in your trunk?" William pushed up his glasses.
"You see, my sister—"
"William Anthony Johnson! Do you wish to tell me were you hid them or should I write to our mums?" Grace and the twins turned their head. Julia stood there, her blue eyes raging with anger.
"You're interrupting my conversation." William said, crossing his arms.
"Does it look like I care?"
"Did you sleep on the wrong side of the bed?" Julia crossed her arms as she glared down the third year. When Grace met Julia she seemed very easy going, but she obviously wasn't happy with her brother. Julia reached down and snatched her brothers bag.
"Excuse me, you're stealing my personal property!" William cried. He reached to grab his bag. Julia lifted up her leg and pushed William back with her foot. Grace, Fred, and George watched with curiosity.
"That's only because you stole mine."
"I did no such thing." Julia began to rummage through the bag.
"Alright, you're innocent." Julia tossed the bag to her brother and began to walk off. As she was leaving Grace turned back to the boy.
"Will, are you going to tell us why you had ballet shoes in your trunk?" Julia spun around.
"Ah-ha!"
"Oh no." William began to ran away, but Julia wrapped her arms around his stomach and hoisted him into the air.
"Go get those shoes I need them!"
"You do not need them!"
"They're my ballet shoes!"
"Set me down woman!"
"Go get my shoes!"
"They're just shoes!"
"I need to practice!" William went limp in his sisters arms.
"Fine." Julia let go and William crashed to the ground.
"I suggest you go with him." Grace whispered to Fred.
"I'll be right back." Fred said and began to follow William.
"I'd love to stay, but I have to go find Reese." Grace said and walked off.
Grace found Reese in the last place she'd expect.
"You're in the library?" Grace asked as she sat across from Reese. The girl looked up.
"Yes, I am."
"Why?"
"Studying."
"For?"
"Don't worry about it." Grace had a feeling her friend was up to something.
"Alright, well, I'm going to do my Charms homework."
"You have fun with that."
"Oh, I will." Grace caught the smile on her friends face.

"This is stupid." Reese said.
"Reese, patience." Grace told her. October had arrived and everyone was outside waiting for the other schools.
"There!" A sixth year student yelled as they pointed over the forest.
"I see nothing." Reese cried. Finally, the two girls saw it.
"Merlin, what is that?" Grace asked.
"A....house?"
"Reese, why would it a house?"
"Why not."
A gigantic blue, horse-draw carriage the size of a house emerged. Kids gasped and pointed at the elephant sized horses.
The carriage landed and the door opened. A boy in pale blue robes stepped out. He stepped back and a woman stepped out.
"Merlin." Reese whispered. The woman was the largest woman Grace or Reese had ever seen.
"I'd hate to be around when she got mad." Grace mumbled.
Everyone broke into applause as they stared at the woman dark eyes. Madam Maxime was her name.
"My pupils." She said in a deep voice. A dozen of shivering boys and girls emerged and were standing behind Madam Maxime. Now, Grace and Reese waited for the arrival of the other school.
"Do you hear that?" Reese asked. Grace nodded her head. There was a muffled rumbling and sucking sound.
"The lake!" Lee Jordan yelled. Reese and Grace turned their heads towards the black water. Bubbles formed on the surface, waves washed over the bank. Then, a whirlpool in the middle of the lake appeared. What looked to be a long black pole appeared.
"A mast!" Grace cried.
Slowly, a ship rose out of the water. It's skeletal look gleamed in the moonlight. Finally, the ship emerged entirely. There was a splash of an anchor and a thud of a plank. People began to get off. All wearing cloaks made of a shaggy fur. The man who was leading was wearing furs of different sort.
"Dumbledore!" The man yelled.
"Oh boy, here we go." Reese remarked. Grace chucked at Reese, who was obviously not looking forward to all the kids.
