CHAPTER 49
A week later and I’m ready to leave. I've packed all my things and I’ve gotten a call from my grandma, saying that she's coming today. She's leaving in approximately eight hours, so she's going to be here by three, which leaves me free for a while.
Liz walks into my room, as if she owns it and asks 'so what do you want to do today?'
'I don't know, you can choose.'
'No, it's your last day, you have to choose!'
'I honestly don't know though.' I reply not bothering to choose an activity.
'Tough, think!' I roll my eyes and try to think of something to do to pass the time.
'We should hang out with the others and meet up somewhere or they should come here,' I say after a while of thinking hard.
'Even the boys? Can't it be just the girls? Because James is starting to get annoying.'
'He was always annoying, you just realised ten years later,' I say smirking, 'and no, because unlike you, I won't see them again.'
'You will visit right?' I shrug my shoulders and she says 'no, you have to visit!'
'Maybe...Maybe not, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.' She rolls her eyes and says 'whatever.' She taps away at her phone and I state 'I think that is just plain rude, you don't text people when you're with someone and it's my last day. It's not even a day; it's literally half a day.'
'Kiera, shut up, I’m just texting the others, telling them to come over to hang out because it'll be easier for your grandma to pick you up,' she says putting an end to my rants. I smile and say 'I knew that.'
'Sure,' she smirks and carries on texting.

It's only me and Liz in the house as my dad and Andrea took Lola to her doctor's appointment. I'm in the bathroom styling my hair when I hear the doorbell ring. I check the time on my watch, which reads 11:30. I hear a lot of talking, as I walk downstairs. Everyone is gathered in the living room and I sit down next to Chris. 'Hey Kiera, is it really true?'
'Is what really true James?' I ask looking annoyed.
'You leaving today.'
'Yes.'
'Like for real.'
'Yes.'
'For real real?'
'Yes, James I'm leaving for "real real" if that even makes sense.' I snap.
'I'm sorry for what happened at the cinemas, I was being really immature.' I smile and say 'you're forgiven.' He smiles and stops talking.
'What time are you leaving?' Lily asks and I say 'at three.'
'That's in three hours and half an hour,' Max announces and I say 'I’m aware.'
'We need to do something fun,' says James.
'No offence but your idea of fun isn’t exactly the same as my idea of fun.' I respond as I roll my eyes
'That's not true!'
'Seriously? Because your idea of fun is to embarrass yourself at the cinemas and then makes a fool out of me!'
'I thought you said you forgave me.' James mutters as he raises his eyebrows at me.
'Okay, what James means is we need to do something fun that everyone agrees on.' I roll my eyes at Joe's response.
'Like what?' I ask and he shrugs and says 'all ideas will be very much appreciated.'
