Sleep Over

CHAPTER 45

'Kiera, wake up.' Lucy quietly says, as she nudges my shoulder. I look around my surroundings and realise that it's only me and Lucy in the room.

 'Where did the others go?'

'They went upstairs; I think they're getting ready for bed.' I nod before getting up. I get up to make sure all the doors are locked and Lucy says 'Liz and Katie already did that.'

'I'm going to do it again.' I check if all the doors are locked and find that they are. I make sure all the windows are closed and they are as well.

 'Told you, wasted journey.'

'Shut up.' I mumble and we walk up the stairs. We go to my room and I'm not shocked to find everyone already there.

'I thought you guys were getting ready for bed?' Lucy asks curiously.

 'I know and we were but we got carried away talking.' Katie replies. Lucy walks over to my bathroom and goes inside, locking the door behind her.

 'Do you guys want to borrow my pyjamas?'

'It sort of depends on what kind you have.' Katie answers and Liz says 'come and pick them out.' Katie follows Liz to her room and I say 'Lily, I still have some of your pyjamas from before.'

'You still have them?' She smiles.

 'Duh, what else would I do with them?'

'I thought you burnt them or something.'

'Nice to know you think so highly of me!' She smiles and stays quiet for a while before saying 'I missed this.'

'I know me too,' I agree. I grab Lily's pyjamas before grabbing some for myself. The bathroom door opens and Lucy walks out; wearing my favourite pair of pyjamas, with her clothes in her hands. 'That is my favourite pair!'

'I figured, seen as they were pink and had girly decorations on them.'

'That's such a pleasant thing to do Lucy!' I sarcastically say.

'I know right, I think so too.' I roll my eyes and walk past her, with my pyjamas in my hands. I get changed really quickly and brush my teeth. I grab two tooth brushes that are brand new, in their packets. They're orange and red, as Lily's favourite colour is orange and Lucy's favourite colour is red. I walk out of the bathroom and place my clothes in my wardrobe. Lily walks into the bathroom and gets changed. I toss the red toothbrush at Lucy and she slyly asks 'why the red one?'

'Are you being serious right now? I know it's your favourite colour.'

'Just checking if you still remember.'

'Well, it's pretty hard to forget when you reminded everyone practically every single day.' She smiles and Lily walks out. 'I was thinking to clear a space for you guys in my wardrobe.'

'You don't have to.' Lily replies.

 'I know but I want to.'

'If you really are going to, then you have to separate my clothes from Lily's!' Lily rolls her eyes at Lucy’s comment and I smirk.

 'I know.' I clear out two shelves and I place their clothes there. 'You know, you guys better do the same for me as soon as soon as you get home. I'm not doing all of this for nothing!'

'Keep dreaming Kiera,' Lucy says but I know she's only joking. They both go to brush their teeth and I go to Liz's room. I'm surprised because they’re both sleeping. Katie has her head on Liz's shoulder and Liz has an arm draped around Katie's waist and they both snore lightly. I walk back to my room to grab my phone and take a few pictures of Katie and Liz before walking back to my own. 'Where did you go?' Lily asks.
