Simon's POV

I wake up in a hot sweat, panting and with an odd but recognizable feeling in my boxers. "Fuck." I pant as I climb out of bed to change my boxers. I quickly throw my now, dirty, wet boxers into the wash basket before throwing on a new pair. I look at the time as I sit back down onto my bed; 3:30AM. "God sake." I sigh as rub my chin.

Knowing that I won't be going back to sleep any time soon, I silently make my way out my room and down into the kitchen to get a drink of water or something.

I get to the kitchen entrance and see Josh, sat on one of the many kitchen stools, on his phone which is the only visible source of light. "Josh?" I call out, not too loudly as I don't want to wake the others - Vik and JJ - up. "Hey man." Josh says, giving me a quick glance. "Why are you still up?" I ask as I grab a bottle of water from the fridge. "Can't sleep. You?" He says without taking his eyes off his phone. I lean against the cold metal of the fridge. "Had a weird dream." I mutter before taking a good sip of water. "Oh." Josh says rather blankly.

"You okay man, you seem... Distracted." I say as I sit opposite him. "I'm alright, I guess." He sighs as he looks at me. He locks his phone, making the kitchen go dark and eerie. "What's wrong?" I ask as my eyes adjust to the change of lighting. "Relationship issues, that's all." He mumbles. "What's happened?" I ask. Usually Josh can't stop smiling, but now he's depressed. "Well..." He begins, "It's kinda complicated." He sighs in defeat. "Explain." I say, eager to know what's wrong. "Well, Freya wants to move in with us..." He says. "What's the catch?" I ask. "She wants her male bestfriend, Luke, to move in as well." He says with bitterness in his voice. "Oh..." I mutter, not knowing what to say.

"Anyway, enough about me. What was your dream about?" Josh says, changing the subject. I tense up, not wanting to say what my dream was actually about. "Oh, nothing exciting." I say with a small hint of nervousness in my voice. "Come on, tell me." Josh begs. "It's nothing, really." I say with a small chuckle. "Whatever you say, mate." Josh says, emphasizing the 't' sound.

"Fuck it, I'm going back to bed." I sigh as I stand up. "Alright." Josh mumbles. "Night man." I say with a small smile before walking out. "Night." Josh says faintly as I walk back upstairs and into my room. I flop onto my bed and instantly wrap myself up in my covers. I sigh as I still don't feel the slightest bit tired.

"Why aren't I tired?" I ask myself as I get myself comfy. "It's her fault, isn't it." I sigh as I know the answer. Jessica. She keeps running through my mind, again. "Urgh." I groan into one of my pillows, so I don't wake any of the others up.

"I'll just mark some work, that'll get my mind of her." I mutter to myself as I un-wrap myself from the covers and make my way over to my desk. I sit down before grabbing the work that needs marking out. I then begin marking everyone's work for the rest of the night.
